I have had my Weimaraner/lab mix { Heās 130lbs} on open farm for about 5 or 6 months . My dog is not a picky eater he will eat anything (thatās the lab in him) so as far as him eating there is no issue that being said I like the fact that the kibble is very small because that means less cooking and less nutrients lost during the process. I feed my dog a variety of their ancient grains recipes I like to change it each month . I also purchase the gently cooked and mix it in with his dinner . HE LOVES THE GENTLY COOKED . I wish however they did have more of a variety in the gently cooked and getting venison in the ancient grains . A few of the customer services people were great and fixed my order mishaps but the delivery service is HORRIBLE. I like the food , my dog loves the food but I hate the mixups and delivery issues .

Decided to give this brand a try since all I heard was great reviews! So glad I did. My puppy stopped liking her puppy food and we decided to just switch her to adult. She absolutely loves the lamb food. She waits by her bowl for her dinner and she never did that with her other food. It was also a smooth transition with no upset stomach. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants affordable and healthy dog food! I also like that they have the Ancient Grains option instead of everything being Grain-Free!

My little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, 2 years old, was having a lot of itching, scratching, and biting from Something, we did not know what, for weeks! We fed her Taste of the Wild. Another Cavalier owner suggested we try Open Farm and I removed chicken from her diet, I did not gradually change over her food (I know, you are supposed to do it gradually) but she has not had issues with eating and switching foods previously and she does not have a sensitive tummy. I was also at wits end with her scratching (at night, in bed, keeping me awake as well). So we did a hard switch, and the very next night she slept with NO itching. Switching her to Open Farm has SOLVED the problem, we are so excited and I feel tons better for her knowing I did the right thing. For the first year of my dog's life we tried everything for his sensitive stomach with no results. Once he started on Open Farm everything changed. He not only gobbles up his food, but his stools are now regular and he no longer has excessive gas. He is so happy, healthy and energetic. I don't have to worry about his tummy anymore and love that I can trace all the ingredients to ensure he is getting a balanced meal. I have saved so much on vet bills since we have found Open Farm.
Finally!! Been searching for months on a food that I felt 100% comfortable with my pup eating. We switched from Purina Pro and Iām so happy we did. The ingredients couldnāt be more quality. My pup is super picky and has loved this food since day 1 and gobbles it down every day! Itās amazing how his daily food serving went down by half since there is better ingredients in this food. So happy we switched!!! Never going back!! And I love that the subscription has an every 8 weeks option. Perfect. I can tell heās at a healthier weight and has more energy. His coat is shinier too!!
Weāve been struggling with skin irritation / allergy issues since our dog was a puppy. Heās now 3, and after so long struggling, once we switched to this food his itching stopped and his rashes got better over time.Even if it didnāt clear anything up, we still would have loved it just as much because all the ingredients are readable and I know EXACTLY whatās going into my guys body. Truly feel like after researching the brand and the FAQ on the website that they take a generous amount of care into the products they make and value the health of the animals consuming their food. The only thing is for our dog, he wouldnāt eat it willingly at first. For some reason, heās weird on foods that smell fishy. But fish oils are so good for them. We thought we got lucky in finding a lamb dog food without rosemary. I ordered a small bag to try from amazon as it would get to our home the next day. Sadly upon opening today, Rosemary extract is on the ingredient list. When you click on your ingredient list for the lamb and ancient grains product, it does not state Rosemary extract. Since the shipment from amazon comes through your company, returns are not allowed. I am going to happily donate the product, still would like you to fix your ingredient list.
My dog Sirius Lee loves this food! He has a sensitive tummy but has always done well with lamb. When his old brand became more expensive I was excited to find that Open Farm has that main protein. It was very easy on him when slowly adding Open Farm to the last of his previous brand. He used to have to be persuaded to eat all of his food, but with this he gobbles it down no problem. I love the ingredients and whole food and no filler. It has everything this energetic boy needs!
We switched from another brand as our rescue mix was experiencing persistent tummy upset/pain and wow! What a difference! No more tummy aches, stools are solid and nowhere near as smelly as on the other food, she has always had sensitive skin but we've noticed her itching reduce and her coat is now super soft.I can't really comment on whether fussy dogs will like it as our girl will eat anything she's given but it definitely smells better than the other brand we had.We decided to try Open Farm as we are still able to purchase relatively large bag size at 10kg. Price point is similar to other brands so what sold us was their ethos. Very open and honest about what goes into their food and having a partnership with Terracycle to recycle the dog food bags is pretty ...Ā MoreWe switched from another brand as our rescue mix was experiencing persistent tummy upset/pain and wow! The second the bag arrived, our dog was completely engrossed with the unopened bag and could not wait to try it. We started introducing the food as directed with 3/4 old food, 1/4 Open Farm. But she would only eat the Open Farm and refused to eat her old food. By day 2 we decided to just give her a full feeding of the new food. She absolutely loves it and it agrees with her stomach, too.Our dog has food allergies, but with the Lamb and Ancient Grains food, we are so far so good! Thank you!!
