Bought from JB-HiFi under a month ago. Screen is perfect. Responsiveness excellent.Takes great photos. Even low light images are good. The Color OS is lightweight and smooth, making for a better experience using the phone. Battery life is good. Used GPS, playing Spotify in the car and making phone calls and still plenty left in the tank at the end of the day. I just charge it up in the morning before work if battery is too low. 38 minutes till full charge - Incredible. Storage is 512Gb - more than enough. IP68 Water Resistance. No wireless charging, but that is not a concern for me.

My prior Oppo R17 was a great phone which I accident dropped in water and needed a new phone and found the Oppo X3 just came out, but did not think it was a significant improvement over the Oppo X2 which had more memory, 512, and a great camera and cost $700 less than the Oppo X3. Great phone with great camera and is water proof.

This is my first Oppo phone. Prior to purchasing I read and watched online reviews, because handling the phone in person was not possible at the time. Features I liked about the device: ip68, large screen, class-leading camera, good battery life, fast charge, solid build, access to Google's app store. Things I didn't like: curved screen, lack of wireless charging, but I figured I could live with these two minor discrepancies. After using the phone for two weeks, I am seriously disappointed by the battery life. This is the biggest downside imo. It drains quickly and gets hot. My previous phone (Huawei mate 10 pro) lasted all day without issue. I literally never even looked at the battery level, it was just so consistent even after nearly 3 years. The Oppo phone drains *very* quickly. I have the screen set to the lowest refresh rate, but it still need recharging before the end of the day - no games, just browsing the web, some YouTube, calls and messages. The insanely fast charging helps in this regard, but I've read that it will negatively impact on the longevity of the battery. Second big negative: the curved screen. This is very much a personal issue and depends on individual preference. Personally, I find it annoying when typing (swiping from the edges on the keyboard triggers the back 'button') and I don't like the way the light bends on videos etc. Minor complaint: the otherwise very good cameras lack the manual control it'd like. The software chooses which camera to use; swapping between cropped wide angle for 'macro' and deciding whether to use the zoom lens, or a crop on the higher quality fixed focal lenght camera module. Personally, I'd like to be able to decide for myself. Their pro/expert mode limits you from using the zoom and wide angle lenses. Minor annoyance: I'd become used to being able to plug my previous phone into an HDMI and run it on desktop mode. You can mirror your display on the Oppo, but the experience is frustratingly limited. The build quality of the phone is quite good, but only time will tell how well it holds up.
I have had this phone now for a few days and I really like it so far. Power to burn, lots of built in power and a real quality build. Very snappy and has a nice spacious screen. It is really good bang for buck when you view the specs and the purchase price of the phone. The only downside though not a deal breaker is that Oppo WiFi Calling is not yet supported by Optus. As I say, this is not a deal breaker for me and WiFi calling is built into the phone so maybe one day it will be. I wouldn't hesitate this phone to those looking for a premium device that comes with a reasonable price tag considering the overall build quality.
This phone has nearly all the features of a flagship phone, but at a lower price than the equivalent Samsung or Apple products. The only real gap in its specs is the lack of wireless charging, in part made up for by its super fast VOOC charging which will top it up in 30 minutes. It is absolutely stunning in the orange. The camera system is top class. All photos are rendered very with true to life without the over-saturated colours of the Galaxy phones. Some people do like their colours to 'pop', but not so much for me. It has a great telephoto lens and an excellent night mode, both of which dwarf the Ultra in real world use. Battery life of the Oppo kills all the Exynos Galaxy s20 models, with more than 60% left at the end of the day which saw my S20 Ultra rarely ... MoreThis phone has nearly all the features of a flagship phone, but at a lower price than the equivalent Samsung or Apple products. Color OS is OK, certainly much better with the current version which is closer to stock Android than before. Speed is great (Snapdragon 865...eat dust Samsung) with 12 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of onboard storage is huge. The only real downside is the lack of accessories, but there are still good cases available and a Nano Optic UV glue screen protector. Reception may not quite be up to Galaxy Blue Tick standards, but there are very few spots where a Galaxy has reception that this has not. Beats the daylights out of all iPhones though. An excellent phone, give it a whirl.
So far so good. The fast charging is amazing, and I really like the phone. Previously whenever I have diverted from a Samsung Galaxy I have been disappointed but this time I'm really pleased. I would recommend it
I bought this phone 2 days ago, so far its an amazing phone. Battery lasts for ages and when it does go down to low (20pct) in 10-15 minutes its fully charged again. Great for games and the camera is pretty good too, not quite as good as newest Samsung or iPhone but makes up for it with performance and battery life.
Oppo Find x2 pro is the best phone I've had yet. No need to move to the x3 or x5. The difference is minimal, this older model has more storage anyway. And basically the same display. The x2 pro is receiving Android 13 shortly. Now is the time to buy one guys :)
