This kitten food was gobbled up quickly by my kitten. No strong smell like some wet foods, and because the meat was in jelly, my kitten wasn't able to just lick the wet bits off and leave the meat!
My kittens love it. I find it can be difficult to find a good fish product for kittens, but this was great. Both of my kittens went to it straight away. They loved it!
The pouch was easy to open without requiring scissors. Food looked and smelt pleasant enough to eat and my cat ate most in one sitting. My cat would have loved more of the gravy sauce.

I was concerned it was the cat food causing it. Well, I tried it again a few days later and let her have half first, then the rest later. I think the issue the first time was she actually enjoyed it so much she ate it too fast and gorged herself on the cat food and that's why she was sick lol. It is very wet, lots of liquid, maybe more than you would expect, but my cat enjoys it.
My kittens are usually quite fussy with their food but they absolutely LOVE the Optimum wet pouches.The food slides out of the pouch easily without leaving chunks left in the pouch like some other brands we've tried. And it's one of the best smelling wet foods I've come across, so no more foul fishy smell in the house at feeding time.
Cat loved it, although giving 3 stars as the packet says product of Thailand. I initially supported the brand thinking it was an Australian made product. Still a good product though.
It doesn't look like real meat and my cat was very hesitant about eating it even though he isn't normally picky.
