This Oral-B iO series 5 toothbrush is a great way to improve your brushing with out adding extra time to your routine. I like that the toothbrush is pretty much ready to be used out of the box after being charged. Just put the brush head on the tooth brush and the whole thing on the base and charge it until it’s ready to use. I like that the options of a daily clean, intense clean, or sensitive clean are all easy to switch back-and-forth from by simply pushing a button. The power button on the top of the options makes it easy to turn it on and off. The lights in the front of the brush light up well to show which cleaning level you’re using. The toothbrush is relatively quiet while Brushing so you won’t make up your spouse or significant other if the bathroom is in close proximity to your bedroom. There are also a couple things about this toothbrush that I’m not 100% sold on. While I like the notification every 30 seconds to move the brush to another area of my mouth, at the end of the two minutes, I wish the toothbrush would just turn off instead of vibrating a little different than the 30 second notifications. The next thing, while it’s not a bad thing, it’s something that I’m not looking to use. The toothbrush is Bluetooth capable giving you the ability to get personalize coaching on how your brushing is right in the app on your phone. While I think this is a nice feature it isn’t some thing that I am necessarily going to use. If you need extra instruction and help with better brushing this feature will be great for you. Remember when using a toothbrush like this that vibrates very quickly while brushing, keep your mouth closed. If not, you will end up slinging toothpaste all over the mirror in front of you. All in all this is a good rechargeable toothbrush, that holds a good charge, is easy to use, and helps you brush better. If you are looking to up your tooth brushing game this may be the toothbrush for you to try.

This is an excellent toothbrush! The charge holds for so long & it charges fast when you do need to charge it! I love the design and the specific toothbrush head I chose is for gums, which has been great. It really hugs your teeth AND gums, gentle but very effective cleaning and it has different speeds. I prefer a lower speed bc I have some dental issues, but I've even used it without turning it on (so basically a manual toothbrush) & it works so much better than any manual toothbrush I've ever used. I like that it comes with a carrying case as well and it fits perfectlyinside and offers protection when youre packing your toiletries or if you wanted to store it in your drawer or laying down. If she brushes using the app on her phone, whenever I connect to the brush it will sync her brushes to my history and vice versa. The app will also sometimes incorrectly determine which section of your mouth you are brushing, which leads to longer brush times if you're trying to get 100% coverage on the app. But I'm willing to overlook this issues and still give the toothbrush itself 5 stars as my mouth has never felt cleaner!

The handle is just the right size and sleek for comfortable gripping while brushing. The handle is just the right size and sleek for comfortable gripping while brushing. My teeth felt very clean after brushing with the iO4.The timer sensor causes the handle to vibrate every 30 seconds and with a longer vibration after 2 minutes. This is helpful in making sure I am brushing each section of my mouth evenly and for the recommended length of time.The optimal pressure control is my favorite feature, as I tend to be a hard brusher. When you brush with too much pressure, the sensor band turns red. When you brush with optimal pressure, it stays green. When you brush with too little pressure, it turns white. There are 4 smart modes you can set the handle on including sensitive, super sensitive, daily clean, and whitening. I use the sensitive.The brush is quiet for an electric toothbrush, and the brush head is amazing. I love the size and feel of the brush head. The blue bristles wear to white as the head is closer to needing replacement, which is a nice way to track replacement time. There is also a yellow light to remind you to change the brush head at the recommended time.The charger is small and easy to plug in out of the way of things, which I appreciate due to lack of counter space. I like that there is a charging light on the power button when the hand needs charging, so I do not have to keep it plugged in and charging all the time. The toothbrush charges quickly and holds a charge for a couple of days.The kit contains a case for travel that fits the handle and multiple brush heads.There is a bluetooth app to track brushing behavior and further personalize the toothbrush setting, which is neat, but I have not used the app.The kit came with the handle, charger, travel case, and 1 brush head.
