This is the second electric brush from Braun that I'm buying, and it's going to be the last one. They only last for about 3 years, and then they die. Considering the initial cost of $200 plus tax and the additional $50 for each brush head replacement, it's quite an investment for just 3 years of use. When I saw that my mother had the first edition io I went and found out they had a few new ones so I bought this one and I’m definitely impressed it does a great job and also the edition of it being blue tooth connected to the app you can download makes this a plus in my book. It’s like having a dentist next to you telling you what to do when you set it into different modes like daily, whitening, or gums to name a couple modes. After brushing it feels like I have been to the dentist…. Ah fresh. Anyway with that being said I’m buying the Jo 10 in a couple weeks. Overall great buy and comes with 2 different brush heads, charger, and travel case. Grab one today won’t disappoint.

It's less than a year since I bought this tooth brush but I have had to send it to service a couple of times. he first time was a quality control issue where the battery wouldn't charge. Oral-B replaced the unit. It has been around 4 months since I got the replacement but now the toothbrush head has stopped working as it is intended and the toothbrush head vibrations are very faint now. I am guessing something has broken inside. The toothbrush has never been dropped or handled harshly. Just regular use with the head being separated and rinsed daily. If this is not done, a large build up of grime was noticed as toothpaste ends up getting inside the brush head. Poor and unhygienic design. Definitely not worth $200.
I LOVE this toothbrush. I debated whether to buy the Oi 7, or splurge on the Oi 9. They are expensive toothbrushes! I opted for the 7 once I compared all the features between the 7, 8 and 9. I'm all for top notch, but I am also practical. So I felt the 7 would do the job. My teeth have never felt cleaner, and I love the app so I can actually see how well, or poorly, I am brushing. I actually look forward to brushing my teeth now. I love that the rim light tells me when I am brushing too hard, not hard enough, or just right. And, I like thst I can changectge color of the rim light. This toothbrush is definitely a good value for the health of my teeth, gums and mouth. I highly recommend it!

I normally wouldn't really care about the app aspect of this but it's actually really helped me determine where I need to focus on brushing and where I lack. lf you would have asked me where I thought I was lacking or where I should focus on, I would have guessed inaccurately. I was surprised. I've noticed the Bluetooth sensor is very accurate for me too as you can follow along while brushing. The app isn't necessary to use the toothbrush though if that's not your thing. It's easy to set up though. I'm very satisfied with this purchase. In just 2 weeks, my gum inflammation has disappeared. I'm never going back.

I went to a new local dentist for a cleanup and they asked me what toothbrush I use and if electric or not. I told them I use a regular soft manual brush. They said they give out free Oral B brush heads if I ever got an electric Oral B. I ran to Bestbuy to buy one only to find out it's not the same head, but GOD this tooth brush is crazy good at cleaning it's more than worth its price! It would be nice if the brush generated a different tone, or pause when I hit the 2 minute threshold.The app is a good idea, but I have to stand straight up while brushing in order for the sensors to detect the area that I am brushing. When I stand straight up I tend to express more saliva/toothpaste mixture onto the brush.
This is the messiest tooth brushing experience I have ever had. I don’t understand how I could walk around brushing and everything stays in my mouth but with this toothbrush I literally have to lean over the sink or everything will leak drip and be a splash zone. The design is just gross. I have to take the toothbrush head off after ever time and rinse and clean it out. I had a sonicare diamond clean for years and need to just go back to that. This is baffling to me, cannot wear dark colors while brushing. Possibly need a poncho to protect clothing. And the sink / mirror / bathroom clean up. What a mess! The tooth paste I use is just crest glamorous white, pretty standard. What is the problem here Oral B? Send help,
Toothbrush is awesome, cool features and I like the pressure light feature, so I don’t brush too hard or too little.Looks very nice, I wish the build quality felt more premium, but it looks the part for sure.Only ‘Con’ was I ordered through the BB app, got curbside delivery, when they delivered it to my car, the two tape pieces they put to seal it were both not attached anymore. When I opened the box, it had no cover or anything over the battery part of the toothbrush, usually they do? Not sure if these just don’t. Also my screen has some small micro scuffs on it, usually they put a peel off type of protector on them new, again maybe these(toothbrushes) do not have that new.
