Starting with the good stuff: this mat is exceptionally well-made, and has some extremely useful features. The cable anchor magnet is exceptionally useful, and the document storage feature is a very nice touch. The quality of the surface is great too. This Desk Mat has really been a great addition to my home office. The Top is smooth and my mouse glides with ease. The pen holder is nice and spacious, and store everything in there from pens to lip gloss. My favorite feature though is the pocket. I am someone who loves to write things down for reference, and this has made it really convenient to access those notes more easily when I need them. Before, I had notebooks where I stored things like passwords, reminders, etc., and this has been a game changer. No more flipping through pages to find what I need. I was also able to free up some desk space as I just tore out the pages I use most frequently and no longer have to keep the notebooks on my workspace. First of all, the protective inner paper that comes within the deskmat is *incredibly sharp*. I cut myself real bad unpacking this thing. I would suggest an alternative paper, maybe even a thicker paper made out of recycled material that may not have as sharp edges as this giant razor blade I was sent.Second of all, the box it was sent in seemed a bit too small for the desk mat. I eventually just ended up tying it rolled in the opposite curve for a few hours and it got it 90% of the way there. For whoever buys it, skip putting weights on it and just butcher twine it in the other way and it'll be flat pretty quick, which it then got better after some use.Overall, the product itself is A+ and I love it.

Our Logitech MX mouse slides smoothly over the leather and doesn't in any way impair the movement of the mouse. It's a great product.
I love this mat! As soon as I got it, I tossed my Grovemade to the curb (just kidding, love Grovemade). The creme color is on point, but more importantly it just feels good on the wrists. The mat came rolled up, but after a day or two, it is laying flat as my bike tires at the beginning of summer. The felt under pad is thick, and contrasts nicely with the leather (is it leather, don't remember) upper. Stitching is nice and even. The pen track/cable magnet holder is also pretty slick. I bought an extra cable holder because I have extra cables. Although I don't suggest this (Gary!), you can store a lot of passwords underneath thanks to its clever document holder design.
