Original Apple 3.5mm Earpods Earphones With Remote and Mic

I have soooo many pairs of these headphones throughout my house because of previous iPhones I’ve gotten and just in general. I use to love using these because they have the mic on them and the little remote button made it easy to set the volume so that way I didn’t have to get my actual phone out. I however don’t really use these anymore since getting the AirPods. These were great headphones though! I always keep a pair with me so that way I constantly have headphones with me in case my other ones die or I forget them.

The Apple earphones with remote + mic for iPhone offer a convenient hands-free experience with good audio quality. The remote allows easy control of playback, volume, and calls. The built-in microphone ensures clear voice quality during calls. The earphones are comfortable to wear for extended periods. However, some users may find the bass response lacking compared to higher-end models. Overall, they provide a decent audio experience for daily use.

There’s a reason you see TikTokkers everywhere holding the EarPods’ long, rectangular mic module to their face while recording videos and voice-overs. The microphone quality is shockingly good for a cheap pair of earbuds, and sounded clearer and more consistent than the much more expensive Beats Fit Pro when I compared audio recordings of the two. This is one major perk of having a wired connection free of interference as well as a mic that’s actually positioned near your mouth rather than pointed toward it from your ear.

I like my Apple Earphones with Remote Microphone. I appreciate that I can listen to music, and if a call comes in, I can transfer to the call quickly. In addition, the quality of the sound is fantastic. The EarPods fit perfectly in my ears; they are better than the old circular earbuds. I am able to adjust the volume, fast-forward or rewind music/videos, and answer/end calls, all with just a press of the cord. The microphone works excellent; it picks up your voice without getting all the background noise. They also are water and sweat-resistant. These Apple Earphones are reasonably priced, and they work with most iPhones. I recommend this product, and I would purchase them again.

The headsets are remarkably fragile for an Apple product. The shoddy craftsmanship trend seems to be a company wide trend affecting almost every Apple product since the passing of Steve Jobs. Am I the only person who feels this way? My instore BestBuy retail experience is always hit or miss, and this trip to the mall was no exception. In the past I’ve had some truly wonderful experiences with the staff - hence why I’m still a high spending customer despite many (too many) poor in store experiences. This particular night and purchase I was basically rushed and ushered out the store because it was nearing closing time. After I paid at the register I was asking an associate a question - I was interrupted and funneled towards the exit. Yes, you read that right: I was escorted out of the store the moment the transaction was complete. The ink was still wet on the receipt as the security guard spot checked the my bag, the purchase and hurried me out. I became enraged and then intoxicated on the sugary fumes wafting from the nearby Auntie Anne’s kiosk that drew me in like a moth to a flame. With my replacement EarPods in one hand and a soft Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel hot from the oven, sprinkled with fresh cinnamon, sweet sugar in my other hand I sat baffled and puzzled, but also satiated.

I hate these headphones. I had to buy a new iPhone and it doesn’t have a headphone jack so I had to get these with the lightening connector. First idk who’s ear is shaped that way but it’s def not mine. They cause literal pain after wearing them for any amount of time. Which sucks because I tend to listen to music while doing pretty much everything. They are hard plastic. I’m use to the soft ones so these are uncomfortable. The wires and stuff seem super cheaply made. I’m constantly worried I’m going to break them. Lastly, considering all the cons I just listed they were ridiculously overpriced. Do not recommend.

The Apple earphones are the best quality of all the earphones I have. The sounds quality is bette then any of the other earphones/head phones I have. The quality of the actual product is unlike other earphones. I wish Apple still gave our earphone when you buy new phones. Sadly, they didn’t for the phone I have now so it was disappointing. I would say overall Apple is a great brand!

"Genuine Apple" What?

Caveat Emptor (tr. Beware)! These are definitely not OEM Apple EarPods. I can only surmise they are cheap PRC knock-offs. The cable is not a soft rubber like the originals (which should have been the first red flag). Instead, they are a cheap plastic version. I bought 2 sets. The second red flag was that first set of earpods lasted 20 mins before I experienced the loud snap, crackle and pop of a poorly-made product instead of any sound. The second set works for now, but I am not confident that they will last. I paid @ $36 expecting a real Apple product. I definitely intend to seek a refund.

They're fine

If you still prefer to use wired ear pods with your iPhone, these are the ones to go with. The work seamlessly with your iPhone, and you'll never have an issue. They're solidly built and generally last a long time. I usually lose mine before the break. They're good for a backup pair of ear pods in case your AirPods die in the middle of a conversation or meeting. Here's an easy hack: buy some replacement foam pads for ear buds, and put them on your EarPods. It's tricky, but once they're on, the ear pods will fit more snugly in your ear, and the bass response will be enhanced since there will be less leakage due to a poor fit.
