Just recently, I bought Apollo, my 3 month old Bengal kitten. From the moment I planned on bringing Apollo home, I knew I wanted to give him the best life he deserves. Therefore, I improvised to try half Merrick Purrfect Bistro kitten and half Orijen, and I now believe, dinner time is Apollo’s favorite meal. I recommend Orijen to everyone if it works for their puppy and/or kitten. The ingredients are amazing and my buddies are eating amazing!

My cat's been eating this for quite a while now, you have to be really careful when transitioning from old food to new as this high-nutrient diet can give your cat soft stools and it took me about 3 weeks for my cat to be completely fine with this dry food. After the transition, there shouldn't be any problems and my cat has been enjoying this and has been healthy and strong. I don't buy the big size as my cat doesn't eat a lot. 1.5 KG will last me 2 months. I also feed him Feline Natural so it's a great combination. Make sure you have plenty of water available for your cat as an all dry food diet may cause some issues if not drinking enough water. Overall I'll keep buying this dry food for my cat.

I have to start by saying that my car is a picky eater. She likes what she likes and WILL NOT eat anything other than that. I’ve been searching for the perfect food for her for the past two years. Orijen is it! A total game changer! This brand is quality. Plus my picky papery is eats it so quickly. Not an kibble left in the fish. Before she’d pick and leave food all the time. Not with Orijen. The ingredients alone impressed me. But the she’s acting (like she’s a kitten again) playing and hiding and jumping. Plus, her coat looks amazing! I can’t thank Orijen enough. She’s loving it! I’d highly recommend this brand to any pet owner! Five stars all the way!
I own a Persian cattery with 11 cats. They all free feed on Orijen and it's one of the best decisions I've made. I noticed that they don't eat as much of it (less food makes them full due to no filler ingredients added) so the bag actually lasts longer than other brands I've tried. Their coats look shinier and overall they look better. The best part? The litter box stopped smelling as bad. I recommend all our kitten families to continue with Orijen, and I would recommend this product to anyone looking to switch their cat to the best quality dry food on the market. You won't regret it.

She used to be feral so she is very sensitive to picking up on smells and tastes. She will not eat the Six Fish which does have some meal in it. Not sure if this is due to the meal or she doesn't like the flavor. She loves Orijen Red and really really likes the Orijen Cat and Kitten. Both have 90% premium animal ingredients which is why I chose them. Her favorite flavors tend to be toward the red meat (beef). She is also a fan of Tuna and Tilapia and some things salmon but not too much; she is a little picky with fish just to be fair with the analysis of the products. I was gifted this Orijen Dry Original Cat Food in exchange for my honest review. I'm thankful Orijen decided to change up the this food's recipe as it seemed quite odd to me, there being a single catfood best suited for both cats and kittens. This seems so strange. This was my cat's first experience with raw or freeze dried food. He seemed indifferent by it, not bothered either way. He ate it as if nothing new, so I gave it 4 stars. It has a mild smell. I appreciate the premium ingredients and the WholePrey nutrition greatly, but for the higher price tag, and just overall melancholy indifference by my cat, I'm just not sure I could commit to it, however I would like to try more from Orijen as I think everyone/everything should be given a second chance or opportunity.

I thought maybe it’s the type of protein so I gave a different formula a try from a different store. Same thing, non stop vomitting from both cats (4 and 1 years old). I spoke with a friend who said her two cats did the same. There are far too many peas, lentils and beans aka cheap protein sources that are horrible for both cats and dogs.. it causes sugar spikes / diabetes. Preventing illness and keeping kitty active and alert is what I hope to achieve with my cats diet. The orjen is the food my cat likes and thrives on. The ingredients all high quality, proteins I'd eat, veggies too! No odd sounding fillers or high carb low quality to bulk up the product, just plain items you'd find in a supermarket. My cat loves this food, she thinks it a treat. Noticed fewer hairballs and kitty barfs! Her stool is compact. Overall the best food you can give kitty.

They are now more tolerant with the kittens and overall more playful. Lastly, I have noticed that they seem to eat less now, then with their previous kibble. Which also means a decrease in out put and their out put is less smelly, Even though this kibble is a little more expensive than what we previously purchased for them.
