Solid, smart, easily carries snowshoes and poles, and avi gear. I like the back zipper and top pockets: easy access with mittens on. The interior pockets enhance the rigidity. Smooth, easily adjusted straps and harness. One quibble: my particular avi probe is a tight fit.

Had this out on a few tours now. Very comfortable to wear skinning and skiing. Just big enough to hold the essentials for a day tour, unless you like to go heavy and then you’ll want/need more space. But overall a well designed pack with plenty of thoughtful touring specific features. I’d recommend it to a friend.

Just bought this for a trek to Tuckerman's. All in all a good pack, does what I need it to do and comfortable. My only concern is that after only a single outing I can see some slight wear on the sides from where my ski edges were. I would think that this parts would be constructed of a more durable material than the rest of the pack. Will have to see how it holds up over time, but at least I have the Osprey warranty to fall back on if needed.

Bought this pack for backcountry skiing and it has been working great. Solidly constructed with all sorts of organizational pieces specific to backcountry skiing - proper place for shovel/transceiver/probe, back opening to keep your back dry when setting it down in snow for transitions, goggle pouch, helmet holder, ski/board straps etc. Really engineered to support skiing and adjustable in natural ways for a good fit. One of those purchases that you will feel good about and appreciate all the thought that has been put into it!
Quality back pack.Well worth the money
I intended to buy this pack for backcountry touring. Thus far I’ve used it a half dozen times. It fit well on me and the features described in the MEC information are all true. No false claims or overstated. The AVI gear section is very generous and I really like the helmet securing mesh.
Purchased this pack however never used it... when packing I found it extremely frustrating having the only main compartment access through the back panel... I guess I’m used to the top loading that most packs offer... I also have the Kamber 22L which actually feels like a bigger pack to me due to the fact I can top load a stuff my belongings down.It’s my understanding that the kamber 32 also only have the back panel opening for the main compartment.
I've only used it for 2 big climbs/hikes, so far (20 hours on my back). It's been comfortable, lots of room for gear. Even on my back for class 4 scramble. Love how it secured my ice axe. I even brought my camelback water bladder (not designed for it but fit in with zipper slightly open).On the wet day it soaked all the way trough but so did my buddies packs covered with a fly.It was an upgrade from my 20L pack that was always too small; very pleased with the 32L capacity.
Great 32ltr pack, used it for a recent ski trip and managed to get more in than I expected. Then used for a day pack out in the hills. Well made strong and adaptable for all occasions. Highly recommended.
I’ve had this a month and it’s excellent. Tons of carry features that all tuck away to prevent getting hung up when I hit the resort but ready when I’m off piste
