Being now in my late 70's, 185cm tall, and weigh ~ 82kgs, I was recommended by my doctor about 2 years ago to start taking these tablets 2 once a day to help control my osteoporosis. She said they take a long time to do their job, because they're like "building blocks" forming in your body that restore the strength you need in your bone structure to get back to doing the physical things in your life that you handled easily, before you developed your osteoporosis. She's right. I regularly have to do physical work that I reckon most other Ozzie blokes my age don't have to. Glad I've been taking this as I've broken arm in fall before and went over this morning on garden brickwork while watering of all things!!
I'm not sure if the product substance has changed. I have been taking this product for many many years as it seemed to make a difference. Lately my nail growth is at a stand still and there is alot more breakage and my joints don't seen to enjoy thesame level of comfort when exercising. I buy it when it's on special so it represents good value. I would recommend it for you to try , maybe you might get a better result, however I will be looking to source a new product.
I have started taking these to help my vitamin d and calcium levels. Also to help my bones strength. I really like that these are easy to take being a big chewable tablet. They do have a lemon taste but they can also be a bit chalk like as they dissolve. They dissolve easily though. The calcium helps the vitamin d work more efficiently. Vitamin d is important for me as i really don't get enough sun and d, also wearing sunscreen every day. I always feel much better taking vitamin d and supplements with improved energy and less general aches and pains. Overall like these ones and they are easy to take. I take one every 2 days.
