I selected the same style cover I had for my iPhone 12. Other than the color, they looked the same, but this one did not have the lightly "grippy" edge to keep it from sliding when laid on its face. The edge is also les flexible making it more difficult to instal and remove. Other than that…it looks good, protects well and…it’s Otterbox.

Great case, better than Otterbox’s 15 case and WAY better than apple’s. Apple’s is slippery, and the new camera button is annoying (inadvertent presses all the time). Because this just has a cutout for the new camera button, far fewer accidental presses. Also this is less slippery than Apple’s case and better protection! This is also better than the 15 case from OtterBox because the white MagSafe strip magnet doesn’t come off when I take my phone out.

I had this same case for my iPhone 13. It was excellent and protected my iPhone through many hard drops. The new case for the iPhone 16 does not feel nearly as protective. The material that wraps around the front is thinner and slick. When I sit the phone face down on a table, it slides around. The previous case was thicker in this area, wrapped around the front better, and did not slide around at all.

There is so much to love about it, apart from one huge omission which lets down all the latest OtterBox range. What I love about the Symmetry. enough protection. Not over the top. good 360 degree protection. looks professional. The back of the case has a great texture & doesnt mark at all. Nothing to wipe off like a clear case. sides are stronger than previous models. Strong TPU as opposed to rubber. Really firm & doesnt sag. I’ve been protecting my iPhone over the years with the symmetry series. I love the slimness of the design while having confidence in its drop protection. The only thing I’m disappointed in is that the color in the picture on the website was a much noticeably different hue than what it looks like in person (the High Desert Marble color) .The brownish hue is a lot more of a vibrant red orange/salmon in person.
Came out defective with the hole to plug the charge moved to the side, so I can’t charge my phone or connect it to anything with the case , I could not use it and had to go buy a different case, I asked the company for my money back and it has been a nightmare, first they required proof so I send them the photos and after I did that I had to send the product back, si I had to package the product and drive to drop it off at a ups, and now have to wait a couple weeks until they can give me my money back! And the they had the audacity to tell me I am going to he charged for the shipping cost OF RETURNING a DEFECTIVE PRODUCT! Garbage. Total ripoff. Cracked after first day. They CHARGE $13.95 for friggin shipping to send a new one. They are a scumbag company and shame on you for doing business with them. It reflects poorly on Verizon. I’m going to switch to another carrier.

This large gap in case material makes the phone awkward to pick up and handle because my fingers aren't completely on the case and some touch the button. I wish this case had more case material around the camera control button so that picking up the case feels more natural and protects the camera control button from accidental presses. The complete notch break in the case is a poor design choice and also weakens the structural integrity of the case.My second biggest issue is the lack of camera protection. The 16 Pro Symmetry is also missing rubber material around the perimeter of the screen, which protects the screen when screen-side down.I do not plan to keep using this case for very long once additional case options are available that have a lay-flat feature to protect the camera lenses and provide a better grip for everyday use. I've had Otterbox cases for my last few iterations of iPhone and I won't go with another brand anytime soon. By the time I traded in my iPhone 12 Mini, my old Otterbox case was falling apart from so many drops, but the phone itself was in pristine condition and looked brand new upon trade in. The Pro Symmetry Series Case fits well on the phone, though the material is a bit slippery so it slides around easily. I was hoping for a rubber grip like my previous case, but using the case with a phone strap works fine for me to make it easier to hold.
