Oxbow Hay Blends Western Timothy & Orchard Grass

We always have this in the house our bunny Thor loves this blend and we love this brand. I trust them and we have never been disappointed by them at all. The hay is fresh and we always make sure we stock up. Good prices also. I would recommend this item for sure.

Accidental order, pet doesn’t even like it

Last month I was looking online to order specifically ORCHARD GRASS, not a blend. I should’ve been paying more attention, but I also didn’t mean to sign up for repeat delivery. So I was confused when this arrived in the mail, a product that isn’t even what I wanted. I could’ve forgiven it if my pet would actually eat it, but he won’t. That’s why I wanted orchard grass and not a blend, he’s a picky eater. What a waste of $20

Better in a large bag

My rabbit loves this blend! She gets tired of eating just one type of hay so the blend satisfies her. When you purchase these bigger hay bags, the hay pieces are also bigger and come with more flowers than the 20oz bags. My rabbit is very happy about larger pieces and more flowers!

Coarse, dry, stalky--Not Typical Oxbow Quality.

Coarse, stalky. Piggie won't eat it. With all the great reviews, we were so disappointed with the dry, coarse, dusty product that arrived. This brand has a great reputation--we like their bedding and pellets. Expected more from this hay. Oh well, try again.

Cottons favorite Hay..OXFORD

As my Cotton a small bunny that showed up in my Peace Lilles i found myself quickly educated myself on domesticated rabbits. I tried different hays. I find Oxford is the best quality for Cotton. She is growing fast maybe 3 pds now. Thank You for a good quality hay. And COTTON THANKS YOU!

Good Choice for My Piggies

Both of my guinea pigs like this one. I have tried several brands and flavors. This one is overall the best because they will both eat it with little waste. Unfortunately, it isn't easy to get. It is not in the stores and not always available online (or at least not always at a good price). I will order the biggest bag, as it is usually the best value, and will last. All of my deliveries have been fresh and in good shape. For that, I have learned to trust this brand.

Inconsistent, may contain plastic netting

Inconsistent, and now found blue plastic netting for a second time. Last time I found it, I thought it was just a fluke, but once again I found plastic netting in the hay. Please be careful when giving this to your pets and look carefully.

Piggies Can't Get Enough of It!

For the longest time, trying to find Oxbow Timothy hay that wasn't just stalks was a lesson in frustration. I accidentally ordered this blend one day and found it to be nice and fluffy - just the way my Guinea pigs like their hay. EVERY bag since has not disappointed me - always smelling of fresh-cut-in-the-sun and fluffy (important because of the way pigs eat their hay with their heads pushed right into it). My pigs have access to hay 24/7 but get it delivered from the bag 3 times a day, and every time, they run eagerly to this hay to chow down. So glad I found this blend!

Quality + quantity

First off they pack the bags full of hay ensuring you get more for your moneys worth and when you can see mostly green through the clear areas gives a good indication that it’s a good quality and gives a lovely scent from the orchard hay. My Bunny goes absolutely crazy for this hay! She jumps around and tries to jump into the bag of hay when I’m refreshing her hay feeder. Can guarantee that this is well worth it!

Rabbits love it!

I usually buy Kaytee, but I tried the Oxbow recently and my rabbits loved it! High quality hay for a reasonable price. I do wish, though, that the hay came packed in leaves or layers as other hay products are for the purposes of cleanliness and serving size. Regardless, my bunnies will be enjoying this Oxbow hay for the foreseeable future!
