Now, as far as "organic" goes, I really don't know if its all its cracked up to be, but if there's even a small chance its better for my buns, then thats what they're getting, period. I have been using this product for several years, in fact I use all Oxbow products. I have 3 bunnies and they climb over each other to get their treat. I have a bunny that moved in about 3 months ago, all black except a white streak about 4" down his back and it was not a wound. About 3 weeks ago I noticed the white turning to pitch black and his whole coat is changing. I feel the cause of this is because (he is 2yrs) he only gets Oxbow products. His whole coat is changing to a beautiful black velvet. My other 2 bunnies also have beautiful fluffy coats. I completely changed to Oxbow products because I lost a wonderful bunny at 7 years old because of a bacterial infection and that should not have happened.

All of our small pets (bunny, gerbils, and guinea pig) have enjoyed these treats for years. These treats are healthy, and apparently, tasty. We give one half to one whole one each day to our guinea pig. He loves them!

My two guinea pig gals absolutely love these treats. They enjoy some of the other oxbow biscuit treats, but these are without a doubt their favorite. Every evening at treat time, they practically climb the side of the cage (not an easy feat for a pudgy little piggy). The treats being organic is a nice plus.
This hay is full of the oat seeds and hulls that my piggy goes crazy for. Whenever I sprinkle the hay bits (this variety seems quite dusty and filled with little pieces than most) over her Timothy hay, she will happily root around for it. This hay is crunchier and I guess offers her a different texture and taste —keeps it interesting. I will definitely but this as long as it keeps her eating!
I have yet to find a treat my pigs goes as crazy for as they do these. They absolutely LOVE these barley treats. They make their cute wheek-wheek noises, which is most times able to be heard through my apt door, when they hear me come home from work because they know they're getting one of these. They've never done this before these treats were offered. Even my super shy one who is terrified of hands will come up to me to take the treat directly from my hand. The other two are at the door waiting or come to the door as soon as it's opened.
Little Cheezy-Poof, our baby degu, absolutely adores these treats. She gets so excited and does a victory lap whenever she gets one. Degus are very succeptable to diabetes, so we have to be careful not to feed her snacks that have added sugar to them. These fit the bill and she acts like they're candy when she gets them.
My bunnies favorite treat. They changed the shape possibly the formula too but fortunately my rabbits still love them. It's great that Oxbow developed a healthy organic treat for our pet rabbits.
My bunny loved these Barley Biscuits and other Oxbow treats, until Oxbow changed the design and probably the taste because my bunny doesn't like any of the new versions of any of the Oxbow treats. Now I'm stuck with lots of various Oxbow treats I just paid for.Will be reaching out to Oxbow to voice my frustration.
These things are by far my guinea pigs' favorite treats. I have used these things to teach my pigs to do tricks like spinning, standing up on their hind legs, walking around an object, and even occasionally fetching a small lightweight object like a popsicle stick. Just be warned though if you go this route you may turn your pets into little manipulative monsters. My youngest male now does tricks like spinning all the time because he knows how cute it is and he'll get a reward.
