This will be the last set of grinders you’ll ever want. In my 29 years of marriage I’ve had many different grinder sets and NOTHING compares to these. Someone put a lot of thought into designing them because they’re perfect in every way. They’re aesthetically pleasing, sturdy, well-made, grind effortlessly, both shakers have settings to grind all the way from a fine powder to coarse. And they pour from the top, so there is zero mess. And in the salt shaker, you do not have to use the chunky salt type, I loaded it up with my favorite Himalayan sea salt, and it did perfect. The finest setting is just like the popcorn salt from movie theaters… enough said.

This is an impressive product. Just the right size and so easy to use. The options of altering the coarseness of the salt and pepper flakes is brilliant as I use a coarser grind for cooking. They are smart and stylish and as they grind from the top not the bottom don't leave salt and pepper on the table or the shelf in the cupboard. They are robust and I think will last for years. So pleased I made my choice after reading the previous reviews.

So I got to 68 years old before I discovered the best salt and pepper mills ever! I guess I've probably spent close on 50 years buying different cruet sets and have run the gamut from £1 bargain shop cellars to maybe £20-30 per set only to junk them all eventually when the fail in some way or other. Now that I'm (justified and) ancient here come a set that are exquisite in design and just do the job as intended. Easy to adjust the grind thanks to easy-grip dial, perfect to hold thanks to ergonomic design and sturdy due to weighted broad bottoms.Buy them and love them

I really like these shakers. They were larger than what they seemed like online, which is great! I would rather have large shakers. Also, they evenly distribute the salt and pepper as your grinding. The black pepper gives you a nice course grind or a fine grind. I like mine with a more coarse grind, which is hard to find in salt shakers. They are heavier glass , nicely made. Glad I got them.
These pepper and salt grinders are very functional and have a quality appeal to them. They came ready filled with salt and pepper, which was a bonus. The level of grind is adjustable. They're relatively weighty but I don't find that a problem. When you put them down after use the grinding part faces upwards and doesn't drop salt and pepper into the cupboard. Very happy that I bought them.

They look nice and do the job, but they are hard to push, especially when using Himalayan Pink Salt. I replaced an old set of salt and pepper grinders with the OXO Good Grips Accent Mess-Free Salt & Pepper Grinders. My old grinders were messy, spilling salt and pepper and eventually broke down. These are the best pepper and salt grinders I have ever come across. Each has five different settings, from the finest grains to the largest. Not only that, they look so stylish, and are very satisfying to handle, heavy and substantialI have previously had to replace pepper and salt grinders every couple of years, but every Oxo good grips product I have ever bought has been of first-rate quality and lasted much longer than those of rival manufacturers
I first purchased these for a wedding gift. My second purchase was for our home, and we have loved them. My sister-in-law is a clean freak so I knew she would enjoy not having pepper grinds on her counter anymore, so she got a set for Christmas. I have seen reviews that say after changing the grind size that it gets stuck or hard to adjust back. The "trick" is this: turn the grinder right side up and spin the bottom to either side. It clears out the grinder part releasing the pepper corns; therefore, it's easily changed to another setting. BUY THESE! The clean counter is worth the money and the grinders are very nice as well.
Most salt and pepper mills have the grinder at the bottom of the item and therefore leave bits of salt or pepper on the table surface. The OXO Good Grips Salt and Pepper Mill Grinders have the grinding mechanism at the top so there is no spillage of the contents. Just turn them upside-down and "grind" to dispense the condiments. In addition, you can adjust the size of the ground pepper or salt granules. In short, an excellent product.
