Exceptionally functional because it holds a lot of dishes securely. The utensil draining receptacles hold even long utensils (chefs knives, wooden spoons, spatulas) securely without them flipping out. The glass/cup prongs work beautifully as does the plate rack. I especially like that the plate rack can be left flat so that the drain can be used for large cookware like my dutch oven and skillets that I only hand wash. The drain works well so there's little standing water in the bottom to stain and it folds nicely for storage. It appears to be made of sturdy material and I expect it to last for many years. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I've been using this rack for almost 2 years and this is the only one that I like so far. I used to have stainless rack, but it was really hard to find a 'real' stainless rack. Although they were selling them as 'stainless' but it wasn't. But this one! is my favorite. One downside is that the water does not flow and drain since the slope is not really steep. So every time after dish, I had to lift it up a little bit so it can drain the water. Also the water stains after using 2 weeks, so don't forget to wash the rack with a soap every 2 weeks. Overall, the product itself is acceptable.

The big selling point for me was the ability to fold it for compact storage, and we do that when we are having company and want the counters cleared. Overall, I am pleased with the product and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is considering it.

This was great for drying my dishes. Decent space, could fit a crock pot and some other dishes as well. However, the plates portion as well as the utensil holders tended to keep water from draining properly, meaning I had to keep cleaning it because of water build up and possible mold. If there was a way for it to drain properly, I would definitely buy this again.

This is a rather cumberson dish rack to clean in the sink, and the plate holder (the part that can fold down for storage), needs a little more attention so get that pipe cleaner ready for the areas that trap moisture and start to grow mold. The plastic is also fairly soft, so any amount of light scrubbing will permanently scratch the surface of the tray, which is becomes very visible. I've used this dish rack for about a year since I wanted to get my money's worth and throwing it out seemed like a waste, but I will be looking for something else for my next dish rack.

First, it's not quite long enough, so if the legs are on the counter surface, the spout doesn't quite reach all the way into the sink for a standard 1.5" sink overlap. Second. the exit hole does not extend at all over the little ramp that is supposed to guide the water into the sink. The result is that if water drains slowly, it is just as likely to fall down backward as to fall forward onto the ramp. The result is a water accumulating under the rack. I'm reluctantly replacing this rack because I'm tired of cleaning up the water from under the rack and over time I expect this to cause problems between the counter surface and the sink. I bought this dish rack the first time more than 5 years ago. LIke all OXO products, it is excellent. There is a place for everything. It is easy to clean. The only reason that I replaced it (with this recent purchase) was that the silverware containers had developed hardwater stains that I just couldn't remove any longer. I would buy it again and again
I truly thought because this was made by OXO it would be a good replacement for the old Rubbermaid dish racks that were Simple, easy, low profile,1st - The tray does not tilt so the water cannot drain out the plug unless you actually lift it to drain the excess water..2nd - You have to constantly keep this clean "Unlike the old "Rubbermaids" or it starts turning orange in certain places especially were the dish plate & the side arms fold. Unfortunately I don't have the photos to upload the day I am writing this..3rd- It is just too big & clumsy , takes up way to much space for the little amount that it holds..In truth I was searching for the Rubbermaids, though as I read the reviews from the new ones it became apparent they don't make them like they used ... The collapsing features are nice for storing the drainer away under the sink when not in use. In that regard, it works as advertised. However, that's about the only good thing I can say about it. The rear elevation feet easily snap off, which makes them kind of a pain (until one gets lost, and then they're not useful at all); the overall angle of the rack (as well as the material) does not encourage easy water run-off. so the rack is usually wet even after the dishes have dried; the low side rails make stacking dishes difficult; the flatware holders constantly show water spots, looking dingy all the time. It works, but it leaves a lot to be desired, and for the price, I expected better.

I had resorted to putting twist ties, pipe cleaners, cut-up rubber bands, toothpicks, etc. in kind of a T-shape at the collection point to help the water get over the invisible hump at the lip of the drainage hole. What to do? Finally thinking like my Nisei dad and uncles would have, I realized all I needed to do was fix the one I have. I started with an emery board, moved up to a paring knife, and finally ended up using cylindrical and triangular wood filing tools that I didn't even know we had in our toolbox. After about 30 minutes of filing, testing, filing, and testing ... it's so much better! It's not perfect, but I don't think I'll feel the need to add a twist tie or toothpick to it again.I found that scraping with the paring knife was more efficient than the emery board. The wood filing tools were the most effective and would've saved me some time if I'd started out with them first. (If you try any of this, please be cautious and careful not to hurt yourself or others.)If you just got this dish rack and might still return it, I would recommend trying the twist ties or toothpicks method -- it really did help and takes very little effort.
