This spray mop was a pleasure to use for several weeks but eventually the spray trigger stopped working and my cleaning fluid will just dribble out with a pull of the trigger.I contacted Oxo a month ago and have had no response from anyone, which is really not what I expected from a typically well-regarded manufacturer.I'm not one to immediately dispose and replace what are otherwise good products so I unscrewed the trigger handle to see if something had possibly come loose or out of place. Turns out the little bit of plastic that keeps the trigger in position has broken. It's obviously not robust enough.But even with my finger manually operating the mechanism to spray the fluid, I still get a get a dribble, so it would appear it's broken elsewhere too. The mop did what I wanted it to do and did it well for 6 or 7 times then it flooded my floor. The whole plastic container of water was all over the floor. After toweling up the mess I refilled the container and started again only to have the same mess. Gave up and finished washing the floors on my 70 year old knees. I found a rubber washer about 1\4 of an inch long on the floor which I expect came from the unit but for the life of me can’t figure out where it belongs. Have tried several configuration but the thing still spills out all the water. Am I happy with the product ? NOI was very happy with the job it did but I am thinking it should have lasted for quite afew more washings. 6or7 isn’t quite enough. I had need for a mop that could clean-up in the kitchen quickly, as well as sterilize our bathroom floors. My husband is wheelchair bound, and we have male home care aids. Not only are there too many men in my bathrooms (and ladies, you know exactly what I'm talking about), but I do not want to be wiping those floors with my hands and disinfectant wipes. I use Clorox Clean-up on these tile floors, to be sure I feel comfortable walking barefoot especially in our master bathroom. I have purchased 2 of these mops, one for upstairs and one for down. Nope, I'm still not through... The pole is made of steel, and you can use pressure without concern that it won't take it. Oh! ...and did I tell you that you can fill the bottle with your choice of floor cleaning products... OR make your own mixture with vinegar, etc. (they even give you a recipe!) Truly this spray mop... YES IT SPRAYS easily too... does ALL it says it does, and has been a blessing in making our medically stress-filled life easier. I'm very happy with this purchase. It cleans well, the bottle is easy to fill up, the spray is powerful and the scrubber is an added bonus. It's also very easy to store, which has been very helpful with out limited space! Would thoroughly recommend.
I bought this a few months ago. Since then I have been using it on my new laminate floor.The handle is very sturdy, the mop head swivels in different directions. I’m able to tilt it under low furniture and it actually gets into corners and gets up against the baseboards very well.What I really like is the spray handle. You can’t accidentally hit the trigger spray because you actually have to squeeze it to spray. Depending how hard you squeeze the spray handle and tilt the entire handle changes how much liquid sprays out. Because I have laminated floors I was told not to get the floor too wet. So I spray it almost like a light mist using a mix they suggested. It’s a mix of 1 part non-sudsing household ammonia to 3 parts distilled water. This mop is great. It has a little weight to it so it's easier to mop. My other mop is so lightweight that I had to push down to really scrub the floors. This also has a little scrubber that comes off the big pad. It scrubbed off quite a few stuck on hairballs with no problems. This set also has replacement pads so you can keep mopping while one pad is in the wash. I love that I can wash the pads and I am not using throwaway pads.
I've had three different models of spray mops. This OXO one is the most comfortable to use and nicest to look at, but it has a couple of drawbacks in common with the others: the water bottle is really hard to remove, you have to stand on the mop head and yank it out. It also collects old water in the tube underneath which leaks if not tipped out and isn't very hygienic. I and my parents have had to exchange the mop due to the trigger mechanism breaking after a shirt while. I don't like the scrubber, you can't wash the microfibre cover so after one use it's dirty and you're stuck in a loop of buying expensive replacements.

We are on our second unit as the first ceased to function. After 3 weeks, the spray lever became disconnected so we took it back and JL replaced the whole unit. This said we spent a couple of hours and the cost of parking on the Kings Road to get it replaced which increased the cost of an already above average cost floor mop. I think there is a fundamental flaw in the spray mechanism and the replacement is already having issues. This said when it works it's first class
