This is a well made item which works very well. I don't understand the reviews that claim it doesn't adhere to the sink surface. If both the sink surface and the suction cup are clean and dry, the product works extremely well and firmly adheres to the surface. A non-porous surface such as stainless steel or porcelain should offer no problem.

Best sponge holder I have found and I have been through many. Fits perfectly in the sink and all you have to do is rinse it with water every now and then. It never falls down or gets disgusting. It's perfect and I highly recommend it. I bought 4 and gave a few to friends. They love it!!!!!!

Glad I bought this as keeps the drink area today with somewhere to put the sponge. The grip has failed a couple of times even after cleaning the wall of the sink but at least it's easy to suction it back on again. It's the only reason I can't give it a perfect score.
We have this stuck inside our sink so no more wet sponges on top of the sink. Keeps sponges out of sight and also hygienic, as the airflow to the sponge allows it to dry. Easily removed to clean. Highly recommend
I've had a few of these in metal and plastic over the years, and none of them have really impressed me. Great little tool to keep your kitchen sponge handy and off the sink or counter. Suction cup easily attaches to the wall of the sink to allow easy access to the sponge and perforated design allows to dry without smelling musty.
I happen to love OXO products. However, this particular product was not working for me.Great concept and nice looking it did not stay adhered to the sink. It lasted about three weeks then fell off. Replaced it after cleaning and drying and within one day fell off two more times. I will be returning this item.
I can totally relate to the no matter what I do it falls down. I am going to try using glue or epoxy to see if that holdon s stainless surface. I have even considered using a couple small screws on the suction cup to hold it in place. I have two goals. One is keeping it mounted, and the other is to keep the holder clean (hygiene) beable to release the holder so it can easily be cleaned. I use large French pop-up sponges and this device is great for holding them to dry.
I hesitated ordering this because people committed it slide down their sink. I had this caddy for over a month now and I have not had this experience at all! I absolutely love the caddy! It is large enough to hold a larger sponge and I love that it holds the scrub brush too!
