OXO Good Grips Tongs with Silicone Heads 23cm

There are cheaper silicone tongs available, but these are worth paying more for. Looking at reviews of others, I saw that most are poor at gripping thin items such as bacon these work well for that, and everything else required of them. They are exactly as described sturdy and nonbendy, comfortable and easy in use, and lock closed for storage in one simple movement. I recommend them without hesitation.

A kitchen "Must Have!"

I already own the larger pair of these tongs, and love them.I decided I needed a second pair (for when one set is in the dishwasher, waiting to be cleaned) but thought a smaller, nimbler pair would be handy.I'm so glad I did! Now when I need to use tongs, the smaller pair are my "go-to"!I love the OXO Good Grips brand.Well made, comfortable and designed with usability not just style in mind.PLUS when things do break (as happens...) I have found the customer service at OXO second to none. Forget consumer rights regulations, OXO put the customer first.

A must have product for any kitchen

Not the first set of tongs ever bought. However the OXO locking tings have proven to be the best so far. At 23cms, the size is a good balance between weight, length and leverage, the locking/release mechanism is dependable and the temperature resistance is excellent. Have even used them on the eyebrow searing barbecue. Excellent as a present.

Decent size silicone end tongs

The tongs have a small pin which allows them to open or be stored closed, which is a useful feature. They have silicone ends so will not scratch or damage your cookware. My one comment would be that the silicone and discoloured after the first time in the dishwasher, on an eco-wash too. However, it doesn't affect the way the product works at all so it is a detail. I would buy these tongs again.

Just the ticket

OXO products are always of good quality and this is no exception. Have always had a problem turning burgers etc. over during the cooking process and these solve that problem nicely.My only gripe is that I got these from Cribbs Causeway and a week later in Oxford, found they had gone down £2.00 in price! Oh well!

Lockable tongs

Another great Oxo product. Little clip opens the tongs which can be used for multiple tasks. Great for turning greasy burgers or sausages. Plastic covered ends for easy cleaning and solidly made.

Have the large and the small sizes of the OXO Good Grips The silicone heads hold up to high heat. We use them while cooking on the grill and also cooking on the stove top. The silicone heads don't scratch non-stick cookware and clean off easily.

New Tongs

New tongs were needed & having other products from this range I choose these. Love that these have non stick ends, but I'm still getting used to picking things up with them as they are totally different to my old ones of 38yrs!

Such a good size

This is brilliant, use it most days.It's easy to handle and fits snugly in drawer.Have been looking for something this size for ages and so glad I found it.Would recommend
