I bought this vacuum to attach to my ozito orbital sander and it works very well. It is very economical compared to other industrial vacuums and it does the job.
The long plastic pipe flexes a bit and the head is absolutely garbage. The plastic clips on the head broke within minutes of lightly running over carpet - not fit for carpet purpose at all. The suction is otherwise strong, using to wet vac my couch, etc, and doing fine in that capacity.
Light unit and so easy to use, wet and dry. Love this machine and very happy with performance. As others have said, the cord is way too short, but just use an extension cord and you're good to go. Love it!
Our back room flooded and the carpet was drenched. So I bought the 20l wet vacuum. It went well with the standard nozzle taking off a lot of water. However it then slowed. So I grabbed a smaller head from our other vacuum. It concentrated the vacuum and lifted the carpet up while vacuuming to get to the deeper water. All up this vacuum has been great at extracting water.
I have been really impressed by this product. Bought as to remove dust after a renovation and ended up using it everyday, inside and outside the house: cleaning carpets, laminate floor, outside pavers, and even sucking water/dust from a swimming pool skimmer! Been using it now for more than 6 months, never had issues, just I periodically clean the filter inside/out with compressed air gun. Of course it would work better on carpets with a different head, but it is so powerful that I don't bother and in case I do just forward/reverse.
Absolute piece of garbage!!! Was doing some work in my front room and needed this vacuum to suck up some brick dust etc. Just bought this vacuum for this purpose.....after 10mins of use the motor blew up and just about caught fire and a lots of smoke came out. Vacuum is now dead!! Will be returning this crap item tomorrow!
Very good sucking power. My main problem is that when using the attachment with the bristles, hair gets stuck in it. Of course you shouldn't attempt to suck up hair with that attachment on but if you want to use it and there's hair on the floor, it will get stuck. It's also a little annoying to maneuver because the sucking tube curls up and you have to keep adjusting it and moving the vacuum. But it's a beast when it comes to sucking and it gets the job done.
I have two and use the powerfit e11 bags and the powerfit h13 HEPA cartridge filter which fits perfectly and get very good results with fine dusts when drilling concrete or sanding paint or plaster. The filters that came with it were not very good and bypassed a lot. The earlier models were slightly noisier but more powerful old manual stated 180mbar. New manual 165mbar. You do notice the difference. Shame they detuned them a bit although looks like the 35L still rated at 180mbar.
