This Wet & Dry Vac' is extremely cheaply made and you can see that with all the materials they use, but in saying that, I love it. This product exceed the value of what it is priced, you might want to put a brick in the bottom of the catcher though because I believe since it is so light weight and powerful it will have enough power to send it traveling across polished floors. It does have places to store accessories on the cleaner it's self but since it is so light I just bought a 20L plastic storage box to put all my added accessories in and place the Vac' right on top.One downside is the noise is so loud you might want to invest in some ear plugs because I believe it might exceed the safety level, also the power cord isn't much shorter than a regular vacuum ... MoreThis Wet & Dry Vac' is extremely cheaply made and you can see that with all the materials they use, but in saying that, I love it. We live in the outback. Dust storms happen as often as rain. Our house has thirty squares of polished timber floors indoors and 12 squares of concrete patios. Our Ozito wet and dry has seen a lot of use in the six months we have owned it. It may be lightweight, and it doesn't have lots of gimicky attachments, but it does as good a job as cleaners costing ten times as much. I recommend it.

If I could give it negative stars I would - don't waste your time with this piece of junk.Bought 2, one for work & one for. Both failed on first use (motor ran, but no vacuum).Surely life is too short to buy junk like this in the probability that you'll end up wasting valuable time & gas returning it to Bunnings in the near future. If you want an inexpensive vacuum with the same features that actually works & stays that way, just pay the little bit extra & get the Ryobi 18l 1250W Wet & Dry Vac with rust proof plastic case. I swapped both mine out for the Ryobi & it's been great.

Bought this little sweetie last year. Love it. My other half is just about to go and buy me another as my son has claimed it because he thinks it's great. Some say not for carpet but i have two hairy dogs and as long as you are gentle it works fine. If you push too hard the brush will come off, that's just physics - I tend to pull rather than push. The bags are readily available - I buy another box when i put the last bag in. My son is amazed at how much the bag can hold. The 12L size is very good for domestic use and my other half has the next size up for his workshop. We love them. (Hopefully this one will not migrate to another child's house! LOL)
When I picked up this little guy I knew it would be small, I just didn't realise how compact it would be! I love it! In a small apartment or even just a house where you don't want clutter all over the place, this little thing is perfect! And talk about POWER! It completely blows our household vacuum away in terms of suction. It is a little bit loud as a result so not something you can use while the kids are asleep. The instructions it came with are a bit lacking in detail but I figured it out. Yes, as others have said the cord is short but this adds to it's storability in my opinion. Can't go wrong with this little one!
Purchased today. Followed all instructions carefully. Used it to pick up water off the garage floor after cleaning it. Seemed to work well for about 30 seconds then bits of a sticky seal of some kind blew out the exhaust and there was a puddle on the floor underneath the cleaner. Water was leaking down the outside of it. It had about half a litre in the can and about half that on the floor. It's going back for a refund tomorrow.
The water feature is not that great. It does extract a reasonable amount of water but it's not a clean extract as it requires repeat vacuuming in the same area. Also, in that process some water spits out of the blower socket which an leave more water to mop up. It is also very loud and alot mouser than your typical household vacuum. Blower feature is good. Have not tried regular dry vacuuming yet.
I’m actually quite annoyed as I “rewrite” this as I finished a long review only to notice I could attach pics. Took a few and went back to find all my good work gone. So now it’s going to be shorter. Need to fix that Bunnings!I bought this after blowing up my $300 Hoover vac buy sucking up some plaster board dust after doing some gyprocking. Who would have throught that a household vac can only be used to suck up certain dust. That’s what the guys at Godfreys told me anyway. Buy a cheap wet n dry vac they said. The filtration system is different and you won’t blow it up sucking fine dust through the filter and into the motor apparently. So checked them out on Bunnings website and saw this one. It had mixed reviews but i though how wrong could I go for $45!? I’m ... MoreI’m actually quite annoyed as I “rewrite” this as I finished a long review only to notice I could attach pics. It had mixed reviews but i though how wrong could I go for $45!? I’m an ex tradie (cabinet maker) and just want to finish a small job at home. And if it was really that bad I’d return it.Bought it got it home and tried it out. I honestly don’t know what the complaints were/are about. Yes it is a bit noisy and it blows quite hard when you’re using it as a vac but I don’t see that as a big deal.I’ve also used it to suck the last of the water out of an outside pond I was cleaning out and it worked great at that too.My biggest criticism would be that it mentions that it has some kind of storage feature but I couldn’t see where it tells you what it is or how it works. After I had it for a few days I realised it’s that the curved scollops over the wheels and the two on the top that I didn’t even notice at first allow you to store the various parts. The lid is also shaped to so you can wrap the hose around it. I suspect most buyers never even figure this out and have a whole heap of loose parts in a cupboard for it.So all in all it’s 45 ish dollars !!!!Don’t expect Dewalt quality at an Ozitto price but it will do what it’s supposed to do.
I bought this little 12ltr shop vacuum for my pellet smoker. Absolutely brilliant.Use with dust bags to vacuum ash and other fine particles from the fire pot and drum.Use without dust bag to suck out unused pellets from the hopper straight into the tin. You can then pour the pellets back into their storage bag. Great for changing pellet flavours quickly. Double thumbs up!!
I was a bit worried after reading the reviews on this little unit, but it was exactly what I needed for the "Shack". So I looked at it for three reasons which were1) To vacuum up the leaves and dirt as the Shack is external to the house and every Winter as the trees drop their leaves, I end up walking them in.2) Involved with Electronics, the tables get a lot of Electronics waste on them (bits of insulated wire, solder pieces, pieces of copper wire, wire insulation.....I need to quickly and easily vacuum3) Dusting off dust and grime off electronic equipmentReport Card is as follows1) The leaves were a no brainer...it just sucked them up no retries, not giving it a hand..just worked along with dust no issues.2) Now some of this electronic waste was on the ... MoreI was a bit worried after reading the reviews on this little unit, but it was exactly what I needed for the "Shack". Full disclosure...brought the powerfit Micro Cleaning Kit (also from Bunnings) to use with the 12L Vacuum. Absolutely works perfect....passes the blown skin movement test, and passed each real world test with some current dirty equipment clean ups (Just a word of note...if you use the Microcleaning kit for blowing, make sure that all hoses and attachments are fitted very well. There is enough blowing power out of this Vac to blow the attachments across the room....So what the other reviews are mentioning where no power etc etc....then they must have faulty units or conditions which are not normal. So why did I go and buy a 12L unit when I already bought a 20L Ozito (3 years ago)....Well I bought the 20L unit for the Garage (mainly cars)......Then a few weeks later the brand name house Vacuum cleaner blew up (it was never good anyhow)....Lent the 20L to the wife, and she was so amazed with the 20L, she kept it for the house as it was chalk and cheese. So I needed another for the car and the Shack....the 12L was a perfect size to go under the bench.I held off after reading the "dud" reviews, but went ahead as the 20L was so good for the last three years, and I have a large range of Ozito garden tools that continue to astound me on their capability (exceeding what is expected of them).....With the 12L I have not been disappointed......
