I couldn't believe how it does my huge front and back lawns with ease. I just make sure there's no surprises in the grass (rocks, sticks etc). The cords' no problem, it's easy enough to keep an eye on it while mowing.

Mows great, shame the catcher doesn't actually fill to capacity. Unless you're happy stopping every two rows of mowing to grass blowing all over the show and having to unblock the tiny compartment to the catcher (which will only be 1/4 full) I can't recommend this at all. Options are stop and unblock/empty every 3mins, mow on a windy day and hope it carries the horrendous mess from your lawn or take the catcher off altogether, which still leaves a dried grass problem. Very poor design compared to the older version which was fantastic. Extra star only because it does cut low and even. Glad this was a replacement not a purchase, definitely gonna end up on the street as a freebie. My rusty old handmower from years back was less work.

I bought this mower last week and used it for the first time today. It's the third Ozito electric mower that I've bought over the years, and I was happy with the first two, but this one is a disappointment. It took me nearly twice as long to mow the lawn because it doesn't cut evenly and I had to go over where I'd already mowed. The catcher is flimsy compared to previous models, and you have to keep fiddling with it to make it stay on properly. Not amused at all. I wouldn't have purchased this mower had I known.

I bought this mower a few months ago and I have a standard size yard, not a small yard back yard takes a full 40m power cord to get to both corners and out the front just manages to reach the nature strip. It performs well when used with the back open to throw the grass out on slash cuts or with the catcher. It never feels weak i get more issues with my cord falling out then anything else otherwise a fantastic mower for my needs I miss the fuel mowers sometimes but for maintaining a rental this thing does the job nicely. Pairs well with a ryobi electric 1200w snipper to do the whole job without the need for a petrol motor or battery. As the cord allowed me to safely always know where it was and move as needed. The ozito mower has not overheated once. If I want lower I'll use 1 for driveway and just like the result of the cut for the price it's hard to beat the only downside is moving and lugging the cord around so a technique I try is to mow starting from the side the leads coming from working across the yard away from it so you are not constantly stopping and moving the cord. Also for bigger yards you can split the work in 2 sections back one day front the next if worried about overworking the motor especially if it's a little longer than usual.
I bought this lawn mower today.Easy to set up. People having a problem with the catcher.Tip: assemble half on the handle side. Then slide the other half in.Having a corner property, I was a bit sceptical that a lawn mower for this price would get through all the grass.It did, with flying colours.I scalped the backyard and cleaned up the mess on the nature strip and the front yard.If you know how to keep your cord management on point(either always on the left or right, away from power source) then you sorted with this handy gadget.If it does the same job 2 more times. Then the money paid is well worth it.Having no issues so far.Product reccomended.
This is my third OZITO corded mower, which failed. Fortunately, within warranty. My lawn is only 100-150 square meters and the mower is working fine. When working. Unfortunately, all three have experienced motor seizure before the 3 year replacement warranty ran out. Fortunately, I am replacing them with a new unit and Bunnings are good with that. What's unfortunate is that the manufacturer clearly makes the product for a very limited life.
Purchased today. Just took 20-30 minutes to put it all together and it cuts my lawn like a champ. Hardest bit was making sure the top part of catcher was assembled properly. Firmly clicking it into place. I am guessing this is why people say its hard to fit the grass catcher. They havn't assembled the parts properly. When done the grass catcher easily slides in.I was originally concerned with the power cord. Would I need to constantly move it. But by mowing the lawn up and down it generally stays out the way. This mower is very good... in fact I'd go so far as to say that it's a little too good. It has far more power than it needs in 99% of situations, which can be handy but also means that it is noisier and more energy-intensive than it could be.The mowing performance is certainly very impressive, and I especially like the little combs on the side which are effective at cutting grass right up against walls and edgings. Having a corded mower takes a little getting used to but for me the benefits outweigh the drawbacks compared to petrol or battery (no exhaust fumes, lower carbon emissions, better reliability, lighter and way less expensive). Bought this mower today 26/2/2024. Easy to assemble mower, but the catcher took some time and patience.I found some gentle persuasion with a rubber mallet helped with the catcher.I operated the mower and it comfortably cut my relatively short Kikuyu lawn( had mowed it yesterday with my ancient Flymo push mower).All in all very happy after first use and surprised at its quietness.
Worked better than expected. Truly a functional piece of equipment and very cost effective. I don’t find the cord a nuisance at all. My lawn was around half a meter high having just bought the house and have full access only recently. I bought this machine just for this purpose. It mowed about 80m2 in just a bit over an hour straight thru without overheating. Ambience temperature was around 24 C. Because it was corded I did not have to worry about battery life and charging. Granted the assembly was a bit tricky but was not a hassle. Did it in 5 mins or so. Only negatives is the bin size. Need to empty numerous times.
