I have other Ozito products that are OK, but found this sander next to useless. The lightweight wire clamping mechanism did not hold the sandpaper under any circumstances. Because I have a large supply of a variety of full sheets of sandpaper I want to use the Bunnings staff were happy to provide a return/refund.

I bought this sander less than a month ago to sand back popcorn paint of a small bedroom. First time using it, I got 3 walls don't and it was great until the the clamps could no longer hold the sand paper in place. There was nothing loose, just poor clamps. I know I shouldn't have expected a lot for the price but I considered what I was going to use it for and thought it was a great buy.I'm now taking it back to Bunnings to exchange it for a different brand.

Used it for a month and delighted. Robust. Accurate. Dustbag a thoughtful bonus.
Quality sander, the hole punch pad is a useful addition to adjust regular sandpaper into sandpaper fit for the dust extractor.
Easy to use , good power and the sheets are easy to change over.
I bought this to finish a large job I was doing. I was finding that the paper was tearing, but after using the paper punch plate and letting it do the work solved the issue completely. I was working it hard 3 to 4 hours a day for weeks on end. After a few weeks the motor and switch died. I took it back for a swap and it's been working fantastic. It copped a lot of punishment and it's still going strong for over a year now. I was really surprised it took that all that work. It has a 3 year warranty. If it dies I just swap it out. You can't lose.
This sander is just about useless. I bought it to sand a lightly scratched table top. It took off the paper thin layer of varnish fine but it didn't have the power to smooth out the light scratches that were only 1/3 a mm deep. I switched to heavy duty sand paper, sanded the same small area for 3-4 minutes and it did nothing. I returned it. Bunnings you need to reassess your quality standards !
Bought to replace my ancient Bosch which finally failed. Clips not strong enough to hold the sandpaper. Couldn’t complete the first job I used it for. One star only because I can’t give a zero.
Unpacked the sander and installed the provide sandpaper to test it out - with terrible results. The sander was about as effective as slapping the wood with a tea towel.I tried some proper sandpaper ('Flexovit') and ta-da, the sander started sanding.Boggles the mind as to why the manufacturer would provide rubbish quality initial supplies, how many people unpack this thing, try it out with the provided sandpaper, and then return it as it "doesn't work"?
