Keep up the good prices Bunnings.So far I cannot fault it.- Easy to assemble- Quality metal framework- The 5 cutting edge slots allow cuts from just above to 30mm below the path edge. Very handy for first cuts. Other edgers I tried before purchase went below the cement edge with no adjustment for above making it easier to see the edge after a cut above when grass is covering. Then cut deeper.- Started on the first pull of the cord.- All instructions are clear and easy to follow.5 Stars to Ozito and Bunningsand spare blades are available from Bunnings, special order.

I bought one of these and have sold it for $80 after one year of frustration. It does not cut deep enough, the handle is flexible and prevents you pushing it along, it leaked petrol/oil mix onto the concrete that is still marked to this day by the oil film. A poor purchase.I am now going to try the Ozito 18V edge trimmer. Here's hoping!!
I think these reviews are harsh. Mine is second hand (house owner left it for me) and it starts every time now it’s had a bit of love. It does the job and I’m on 1:4 acre with garden beds and grass to edge. Could do with a new cutting blade but it’s a solid little unit in my opinion.
For the money, it is a good item as a build factor. As for doing the edges, it didn't do a good job. If the lawn was already edged and there are just a few crawlers here and there it would probably do the job. If it is over grown like mine it can't do the job, unless the blade was 15-20mm wide to really dig out the area to get an edge.
From Brand new, this would not even start first go. Followed all the instructions and primed it and still fails to start first go. It takes up to 10-12 times. Very disappointed.
This has proven to be almost useless in doing what it should do. The blade constantly get caught and stops cutting. I have used this 2 times and will not use again as it is too much trouble.
Have had this edger for three years and it has been very reliable. The only annoyance is that the blade wears out after around three uses, and requires replacement. In a normal house, I use 6 or 7 blades per year.
Had it a few years but hardly use it. Now i remember why. If your grass and path is not the same level forget it this is not the machine you are looking for. Have to go over the same length 2 3 4 times to get it all cut.
