Bought this to paint R/C bodies (1/10th scale) and scale models. The fact that you get a compressor with a tank, regulator, hose and airbrush - I think it's a great little package. You can't compare it to an Iwata or Badger, but it's also a much cheaper kit if you're just getting started. The compressor is relatively quiet - much quieter than a shop compressor, and the 3L tank means it's not running all the time. The airbrush is probably the weakest piece of kit in this, but it serves it's purpose. As it's not stated in the manual, just putting it out there that the airbrush has a 0.5 needle. So it actually sprays wide patterns OK. Also, there's an adjustment screw on the airbrush, but it basically sets the paint flow so that when you push down on the trigger, it'll spray at that set flow. Essentially, making it work like a single action airbrush, but you can dial-in how much paint flow you want. If you don't use the adjustment screw, then it just works like a typical dual-action airbrush. Also, know that you get two paint jars, but only one of them has the siphon feed.If you're starting out, or just need a cheap, quiet compressor, get this kit. For the price of a bigger brand kit, you can get this, and then a nice gravity-feed airbrush with a .35 or smaller tip, and you'll have a a nice little setup to cover wide coverage and some precision work.

Initially very usable and enjoyable lil' airbrush setup that I've used for a fair amount of professional miniature painting (Warhammer, Dungeons n Dragons etc). Have returned my third unit today after two cracked seals and now a motor failure on my third unit. Going to stick to better build quality for compressors I think.

Purchased originally 13 months ago. First use was fine then the safety valve malfunctioned therefore wouldn't hold air. Bunnings were great and replaced it. I completed 5 or 6 projects over the next few months and the motor stopped pumping air into the tank. 2 replacements in half the warranty was enough to ask for a refund this time. Airbrush itself worked well and when operating made easy work on the puzzle builds.
I've used the airbrush 3 times with thinned enamel in the cup as well as the compressor with a Badger spray gun. I think the compressor is worth the sale price. The airbrush I got has a dodgy trigger and most times does not return to the air off position, but still sprays ok. I don't particularly like the siphon feed, so I have ordered an inexpensive gravity fed airbrush to use with the compressor. My old Badger spray gun worked very well with the compressor and a thinned acrylic.
A compact unit, runs very quietly. I worked it continuously for 15mins and the thermal cut-out switched the unit off, waited for it to cool down and it worked OK. A great little performer at a reasonable price point.
This kit is wonderful the compressor is very very quite and the addition of the tank means its not constantly on. However the first thing that I recomend changing is the airbrush itself, don't get me wrong it is great with solid metal construction. But it is a syphon fed airbrush which does have limitations. Personally if you are planing to use this kit on models, I recommend investing in a gravity fed airbrush. If you are looking to do priming coats or paint jobs on 1/32nd scale models or even 1/24 scale models then the large pot will come in very handy. Overall this is wonderful and for the price it is brilliant.
Thisnis a single use product. Will work for a bout 2 months thrn the motor will slowly die. Keep tour receipt if your buying as it is likely you'll be going back to either replace it or better yet, get your money back. Total waste of money
I bought this product to paint plastic model kits. It probably only has one hour or less of service, and has already stopped pumping air and pressure. I was very upset because i saved my pocket money, to buy plastic models and products like this. I really thought the compresser in this kit would last me a very long time as i barely use it, probably about 3-4 times a week only on small models.I am very upset with the poor quality of this product-another example of how cheap products do not last.Do not buy this product!

The air brush has had no problems at all and is easy to clean, but quite upset with the performance of the compressor. definetly stick to just buying the airbrush its self and buy a good quality compressor elsewhere. Do not watse your money on the compressor!
