Bought this 18 months ago to use a standby firefighting pump on a small acreage. Worked fine until the fuel hose fell apart just after the warranty run out. Replaced the fuel hose then parts started to fall off the carbie. you get what you pay for as there is no spares available from Ozito to replace the carbie. Just junk.

i bought this in 2018, and have used it to pump out full pool size amounts of water 10 times or more over that time.. It worked great for the year started first pull, but now will take a few pulls on choke before shes ready to start.. But she works absolutely fine, just remember to change the oil every 6 months and empty the water from the bottom valve after each use..

A good machine for the money to replace my genuine honda which was way better but 3 times the price. this ozito had a quality issue in the die cast aluminum fuel connector and filter hosing (which screws into the bottom of the tank with a filter inserted). this was leak and upon tightening it, thinking it was a seal issue, it snapped in half where it was poorly formed. to save a 40km return drive to bunnings I used a replacement part from my half dead genuine honda pump.

We bought this on 16th October it worked great but the fuel was leaking so took it back they gave us a new pump. Start setting it up only to discover the fuel is running out. After reading the previous review we could see the problem, the fuel line is not connected. There's nothing in the instructions just be aware that you need to connect that before anything else.I use it to water my orchard and vegetables from the dam.
Used on a farm daily in all weather for 3 years. Just kept going until the water casing cracked. Unfortunately ozito do not have spare casings for sale
The internals of the waterpump are made of cast iron and after a few times of using it the thing had started to rust and it seized .the engine did run alright to begin with but like all chonda engines they start to wear quite quickly. In my opinion not worth the money and should avoid at all costs
I have know idea why Bunnings keep stocking this product. I returned the first pump with fuel issues (no questions asked). It’s replacement managed approx 20 hours over 2 years and now it won’t hold fuel.
I bought this around a year ago, and has worked well as a pump up to now. However, when I refueled, I noticed fuel dripping from the pipe connecting to the carburettor - the flexible fuel pipe had split where it joins onto the carburettor. I decided to replace the fuel pipe, and in the process discovered that the other end of the fuel pipe had also split. It appears that a substandard pipe material is in use. Other reviews have also mentioned fuel leakage and fuel pipe problems. In my opinion this is a major safety concern, and this product should be recalled immediately for corrective action. This problem is a significant fire hazard.
Okay consPoured the fuel in only to quickly realise the pipe wasn't connected so fuel just poured out everywhere, easy fix but not impressed.Almost impossible to stop water leaks as the fittings are absolute crap. Hopefully get it sorted with a few DIY fixes.Over priced for the qualityProsEngine starts easilyIt does pump water well, I use it for tree watering.
wouldn't start from moment it was un boxed
