I only purchased this unit to sharpen drill bits.To this end it does a great job, fast and accurate.Now I have sharp drills without having to replace them.The instructions are a little ambiguous however once I'd figured them out I found the actual sharpening procedure to be really simple and quick.One day I'll use the other functions but for me, I purchased the machine to sharpen drills and that is exactly what it does.

It is no precision instrument but it does work and has easily paid for itself just as a drill sharpener. The knife and scissor sharpener is a little but savage so take it easy, but it does work. Haven't tried any chisels

I immediately took this back and got a refund. It is the worst tool I have ever purchased. It is cheaply made and it has a huge amount of play. You can do a basic sharpen on a large drill bit if you are careful. You get what you pay for I guess. I got the base model Drill Doctor which works brilliantly. I would give the Ozito zero stars if I could.

Bought this today to sharpen kitchen knives.Did one, knife edge very rough, metal splinters all poking out of "sharpened" edge. Turns expensive knives into hacksaws.Do not recommend, will be returning this for a refund.
Compared to what's available this seems to be a quick fis when it comes to putting an very shallow edge back onto whatever your sharpening but it will require sharpening again very soon as the shallow angle of the grind is not long lasting. It's quite a rough grind and not a good as sharpening process as a wet stone. Leaves knife edge with a rough finish. The motor is weak and can easily be stopped if you wish to apply more pressure. Compared to what else is on the market its probably the best value for money but would be worth spending a little more if there was another product available with better finish and more torquey motor
Used to be sold as a "Dremel 6700" for ~$130, but discontinued due to poor overall quality and customer feedback. Now available at the seemingly bargain price of $30...Use it to perform coarse preparation on a tool prior to manual finishing on a sharpening stone. Beware that some of the grinding surfaces are diamond impregnated plastic(!), so go easy to prevent the grinding surfaces melting and deforming.
I bought mainly for chisels and drill bits. Chisels are ok, but not great. There is a lot of slop in the plastic parts, but you can get buy. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone other than the occasional user of a chisel. For drills bits, its ok, but not great. Smaller drill bits (3-8mm) prove tricky with unreliable results because there is a lot of play in the body of the attachments. I will continue to use for the chisels, but not the drill bit sharpener. I brought a dedicated drill bit sharpener from another tool shop which is brilliant.
It works for about 2 knives then the play on the cheap plastic parts is terrible,Completely useless after 2 standard kitchen knives,No way to set anglesThe plastic moves so it's not even accurate on the one angle,It's only $25 but then that's $25 down the drain as you can't buy replacement part for the cheap plastic.
It's not professional grade but to be expected. I've sharpened quality brand chef's knives, paint scrapers, a wood chisel, and even my cane knife. I've got great value out of this in my first day of ownership. I can slice and dice tomatoes and onions like some kind of infomercial. The online videos were simple and super helpful, you should watch them before trying the machine. I found the technique easy to pick up and apply. One day I'll try drill bits. I like this machine and recommend it.
I bought it two weeks ago and it did a good job at sharpening the knives, but I had to press the plastic bit that spins the wheel manually to make it work.Tonight I tried sharpening some drill bits and te machine just stopped working.As the person that sold it to me said, it can be good as it can be bad, and in that case, not good at all.
