I bought this last week to re-cover some chairs. It paid for itself after the first chair. I tried to pull the lever on the manual tools but my arthritic fingers were not strong enough to work properly. With this tool I was able to tension the material over the foam and then with the other hand shoot in a staple. Definately worth the money for ease of use on a home project.

This is my second time of purchasing one of these staplers. My daughter borrowed my first as she does reupholstery. Yep you guessed it's still there so purchased another as I have chairs I need to recover. Being disabled this little gadget is both time saving and easy to use. Love it. And this one was in the sale, even better value.

I don't write reviews, be it good or bad, but I got to give Ozito the credits that they deserve. Not only is this at $20 a steal, but it just keeps on going. I was waiting for it to jam - but boy it never does! It goes in to any wood easily, press it harder and it goes all the way in. I use this to staple my welded mesh wire fencing to hardwood and soft wood, no troubles whatsoever!I wanted something cordless, so bought an Arrow manual staplers at more than double the price - only to find it doesn't go all the way in and it needs so much pressure to fire - it hurts my hand so bad that I couldn't use it for more than a few minutes! Good for small jobs I guess. Installing polyester batts underfloor insulation, this was recommended as it is light weight and low cost. Only completed 10% of the floor and its failed with the striker jammed up and no visible staple to clear (and I have cleared losts of jammed staples). Its just wasting my time now, looking for another.
This is an update to a previous 2 star review. The striker previously jammed up when stapling underfloor polyester insulation. Searched for an alternative and there really is none in this feature, price, weight and quality point to match it! Ended up dismantling the stapler which turned out to be easy and located a small staple leg blocking the tool. If you are careful to remove any left over staples and re-loading a full strip of new staples it works flawlessly and reliably. Been back in operation for some months now.
I’m happy with this stapler. It’s reasonably small, it’s also light. It struggles a little bit stapling into hardwoods (I’m retrofitting sisalation in my old house and the rafters are 50+ Years old and super hard) but it does the trick. As others have said if you can get one hand on the back and push it really firmly into the surface it works better.
Bought it to upholster a furniture piece I was restoring but I found it hard as it was chunky and couldn’t get around some of the corners/edges. Unfortunately it also stopped working after the first use. Waiting on Bunnings to reopen when lockdown eases to return. Have bought a more expensive one.I don’t recommend it if you are going to do a lot of furniture restoration
I bought this to use for my furniture flipping/artistry business. I needed to reupholster six dining chairs and figured this cheap one would do in a pinch until i can replace it with a better one. If i do end up replacing it ill be getting the Ozito PXC staple/nail gun but i dont see myself needing to replace it any time soon as this staple gun gets the job done!Easy to holdLight weightEasy to loadPerfect for a beginner or even just someone on a shoestring budget.100% recommend
I wasn’t sure about it… But it worked perfectly well on my hardwood fly screen door. Well, 95% of the time. But for the price you pay is better than a non electric and not as expensive as having to buy a professional one. Very satisfiedI was encouraged to try it after reading reviews on this page, thanks everyone who takes the time to share as it got me out of trouble :)
I had to run a bunch of insulation strapping under 100+ year old house (old growth Tasmanian oak hardwood joists) and this thing sent each staple home every time. I couldn't believe it.100% would recommend, for more than just softwoods!I wish it had a larger magazine and the chord was annoying, but for the price, well worth it!
