I had previously reviewed this product. I had not included the auto off feature. The glue shuts down after say 30 seconds with no use. A good battery saver especially when you forget to turn off and walk away. The Ozito manual and specs don't seem to include this feature.

Brilliant, cheap and works as expected. Could have been better if you can adjust the temperature but I guess for that price I shouldn't complain

so convenient , chuck in a battery and take it anywhere . saves buying a multitude of different types of adhesive . I realise some jobs need a special adhesive but for 90% of home glue jobs this works well . remember the glue is hot , don't try to spread it with your finger :-/ :-)))

Its really easy to use just that the ozito batteries drain really fast it feels like for long projects, especially if you dont turn it off manually.
Great Glue Gun.Much better then corded ones I have (big and small). Does not drip out when you finished squeezing the trigger. Good temperature so does not run for to long or create long strings.Fast warm up, 2 minutes with LED indicator, so no guessing. Safe (relatively) for kids, as rubber sleeve protects from hot metal part. Runs well even on small batteries.
I purchased this glue gun yesterday as I had a big job coming up and after purchasing quite a few Ozito PXC items lately, I thought this would be a great addition.I was not disappointed.Heat up time was super quick, and the green light came on to say it was ready in under 2 minutes using the 2ah battery i purchased on the same day.Did the job, worked well, however my gun dripped a few times when I stood it up between applications.I will keep an eye on this next time. You cant go wrong at the price and the warranty is second to none, and the price is amazing.
Out of all the range, this skin lasted 5 months.Element inside started too heat up more than normal.Unit is now stuffed. The tips you get with the gun last a few months then the inside melts and you get dripping tips witch is horrible! Not a very reliable skin buy with caution!Ozito need to fix many issue with this product.
Do not buy this glue gun. It does not heat up in the specified time and after you have completed your task if you do not remove and extensively clean the nozzle immediately it is almost impossible to release the nozzle once the glue has dried without breaking the actual casing of the gun. And the glue could dry the nozzle on perminantly within minutes. choose the dewalt corded glue gun, it is efficient, quality made and a breeze to clean and maintain even after the glue has dried. Stay away from ozito completely as their return policy is often long, a pain and stressful
I bought this as part of a kit as I needed a new hot glue gun and wanted to go cordless. I have done a couple of small jobs with it so far and am impressed with how it works.I find it easier to use than my previous corded one as it feels better balanced and it sits upright when you put it down. It takes a little under two minutes to warm up and the glueflows well.Very happy with it so far and even happier with the price.
Brought this with my ozito pxc cordless wet and dry vac. The glue gun is a great addition to my cordless range of tools both Ryobi One + (9) and now Ozito (3) cordless the price and the 5 year warranty was the clincher to choosing Ozito. I now have a hammer drill the vac and glue gun. The glue gun heats up fast and the red and green heat indicator is a big plus. The flow of glue was great and was easy to control the flow. I really want a 2 ah battery makes the gun lighter as I don't need it to remain hot for long lengths of time.I wanted to change nozzles just to see what would happen as the glue would dry and bond with the nozzle. There is actually a ball bearing inside the nozzles that stops the flow when the trigger is released. I got a 13 mil spanner with a long handle from my own set. I really do not know why they put such a ridiculously short handled spanner in with the glue gun as you will have to force the solidified glue inside the gun from the nozzle so you can change it for the new one. You will need the leverage of the longer handle. There is just no other safe way to do this. Do not try to soften the glue or do this operation while the glue is hot it is stupid, dangerous and simply will not work. I was more worried that I would break the glue gun with the amount of force it took to break the bond ( I could just imagine trying to explain a cracked glue gun body to the Bunnings staff member as they really have no idea and would be suspicious when I said it happened because I had to separate the nozzle with hardened glue inside it from the body of the gun so I could fit the other nozzle and therefore had to use force and so I had to hold onto the guns body for support and it and it cracked due to this operation) but I need not have worried it will be easier next time as I will not be so cautious.
