I tell you what we can't get enough of Ozito esp the tools that use the same batteries. After comparing reviews decided on the cordless orbital above the corded and so glad we did.Couldn't get over how quickly it sanded down an uneven piece of pine we had installed as a handrail and particularly impressed with the speed dial that allowed us to slowly increase or decrease power. Also bought a cordless jigsaw so will add that to reviews after we've used it.As per usual a great warranty 5 or 3 I can't remember and another to add to our growing arsenal.Well done Ozito and thank you Bunnings for stocking the brand

Bought this about a week ago (I own hikoki/hitachi gear for work stuff) but don't use the sander enough to justify buying the hikoki variant which is 4x the price. This little sander runs with the bigger tool brands.A lot more powerful than I thought it would be.Powerful enough to ignore the electric versions.Have it hooked up to a work vac and sanded a 3m x 4mx room full of patches without a problem. Suction through the pad holes works well with minimal dust. Wouldn't bother with just the bag on the tool.2ah battery is fine for a while but definitely recommend using a 4ah or above for extended use.Noise and vibration are fairly tolerable. I wanted to start doing little DIY projects as a hobby so I didn't want tools that were overkill. Having had an Ozito blower that has been brilliant I brought this sander after doing my research. I had brought the detailed sander first but it wasn't lifting the top layer of paint so I got this guy and it works brilliantly. I can use the detailed sander to go over it to smooth everything afterwards. My dust bag stays on but you do need to check in case it vibrates off. The only con of these two products is that they don't really have handles to hold onto. SO you have to be careful when fluffing around with it trying to get a better grip so that it doesnt take off out the window like mine nearly did.

I purchased this little beauty to upcycle a table and chairs. It was amazing. Easy to use and clear instructions. It did an amazing job. I am very impressed. I purchased the middle size battery and it lasted a good 2 hours of constant work. Battery didn’t take too long to charge either. Probably 90 minutes. Definitely 10/10 for me.
I bought this few weeks back and have used it on one project so far. It's not a tool I use on a frequent basis so I couldn't justify buying a pro brand. I run only cordless tools these days and this one was by far the lowest price. It works well, has reasonable dust collection, vibration is also reasonable and certainly less than some other random orbital sanders I have used in the past.Another useful tool and at the price, it would be nitpicking to find fault with it.
I bought this to sand a worktop before staining and varnishing. Variable speed is nice, with setting "1" being good for less vigorous detail work and setting "6" being good for fast removal. It has plenty of "oomph" on setting "6". Sanding pads stay firmly on but only 1 x 80 grit pad is supplied (you'll need to buy some finer pads to complete a job). Battery life is good. It does get rather messy in use, but perhaps that's to be expected. All in all, great value if you already have the batteries and charger available.
Upon opening this product you are met with a tag stating that the product must not be used for sanding plasterboard. The warranty book then states that it's void if used for plasterboard sanding. Would have been nice to state this on the product page surely this is an important thing to know before purchase.
Bought this as a stop gap until my Bosch sander could be fixed. Maybe I didn't read the description right, dunno, but I may as well have had my two year old niece hand sanding and would have got a better result.
I have given this sander death and i keeps running .Had it for about 2 yrs and sanded all sorts including plaster and it is still going fine .Only minor faults I find is speed control can often be accidently turned down.I have dropped this sander a number of times from various heights and no issue so will be buying another for when this one eventually dies
I bought this a couple weeks ago based on price and great reviews. The sandpaper disks don’t even stay on. Tried everything. They fly off the second I turn it on… waste of money. Perhaps I just picked the dodgy one off the shelf..
