Very happy with this purchase. Extremely powerful, quieter than my previous 2 stroke petrol blower and also lighter. No more messing around with grubby fuel and oil!Just be careful with using Turbo for very extended periods may make the cells in the battery get too hot to charge, causing the charger to indicate a fault when charging. Let the battery packs cool down first.

I've owned this for just under 4 years now and mine came with batteries and charger. I find the run times quite good and I live on 2/3 acre with paving and deciduous trees so it gets used a bit. Batteries are still working well after this time, but I never let them run to empty. Variable speed is really useful as it can be a little hard to direct debris with the large nozzle, and I find that reducing the air speed helps with this. I own a good quality echo petrol blower too, but the Ozito is my "go to" as it always starts and is always fuelled up. The petrol blower does have a bit more oomph and a lovely note, but my neighbours probably prefer the Ozito's lower dB!

I thought I'd give this a try after using a different ozito product but electric. I thought having two 4.0 ah batteries would be enough juice. it runs for about 20-30 mins if not using turbo mode. I should have bought a petrol powered blower

Bought this as a step up from the smaller PXC 18V single battery blower which, for its size and cost, does a great job. Well, this one does blow like a demon but chews through the batteries even before the batteries know themselves that they no longer have enough charge to run it. But beware, the air intake at the rear is so large that it can suck loose fitting clothes right in towards the unit blocking incoming air. Otherwise it is an OK product.
brought this as i wanted to move away from fuel, was very sceptical and was planning to return if no good.. brought the pxc2 mower, with 4ah batteries, hooked up to this unit, on power 10 its pretty good, but once you hit the turbo button its excellent, only for short periods, which is usually when you need to move some stubborn leaves etc. Same power as the bg56, but wont last for long. I would recommend this item in a heart beat if you are already in the Ozite battery system. i will be buying two 5.2 for the mower and moving the two 4.0 onto this bad boy.
Very impressed with it, does the job well, we have a liquid amber tree and in Autumn it really earns its keep.Fairly light I had no need for the shoulder strap.Turbo-boost is very powerful and loud, watch out it really eats up the batteries quickly.Another awesome Ozito product.
I bought this blower after reading the reviews. It’s probably one of the best buys of all my Ozito tools. It helps that I have 4 4ah batteries (as I have the chainsaw as well) because I use the boost function a lot. It does accelerate the draining of the batteries but it’s a great function to have. However just using normally without boost it goes along time with 4 batteries. It’s also surprisingly quiet. If there is one fault, it’s the design of the rear suction positioning as you do wear a loose fitting shirt, it will be sucked onto the grill.
Purchased today for home use only used once took it back got a refund.First the is has no direction old while you're debris just lose it all over the place had fully charged batteries after less than 10 minutes drained the batteries when removing the batteries very hot.I have other as you take equipment it is quite ok using one 18 volt battery I presume the amount of power is needed for this particular blower drains the batteries in minutes so to me it is a fail could not even finished blowing down around my house and driveway .USELESS
I thought I would try this out, two 4.0 batteries. Compared it with my stihl bg56.In turbo mode this blower is on par with the petrol at full throttle. Level 10 is great too. Once the stubborn stuff has moved.Sold my stihl.
i purchased this and 2x 5amp batts. i got around 45min of blowing at speed 10, with a decent amount of time using the 'turbo' mode on and off as required.it moves large amounts of clippings, gumtree leaves and gumnut debris very easily even without using the turbo mode. i do suggest good quality earmuffs when using turbo mode as it sounds like a jet aircraft on take off when you use the turbo mode.My only advice is to think about what other ozito PXC products you intend to buy before you buy batteries as the $220 i spent on 2x 5amp packs could have gone toward the purchase of the $400 ozito telescopic mower with large catcher which already comes with 2x 4amp batts and a twin fast charger which could have been used on the blower also.
