This review is incentivized This scent is a synthetic yet well blended fragrance. I know the absinthe mixture with mint grapefruit must turn some off because it's almost, spicy-synthetic, but if u really allow it to sit on your skin, it's a beautiful citrus packed punch of sweet synthetic beauty. . It has more to it than just the opening it lasts longer than a lot of people are saying. I get about 3-4 good hours on the skin with about 2 good hours of sillage that first hour it's present. Overall this isn’t anything groundbreaking and maintains that typical invictus sweetness, but it is a nice easy dumb reach and I would recommend.

This has to be one of the easiest most mass appealing fragrances I’ve smelled in a while. It does have the original “bubblegum” scent of the original Invictus but a lot less. What it amps up is the green, aromatic facets especially the lavender. Mint is there but I only get a tiny amount of it. Absinthe gives it that extra facet with a little anise scent in there. Overall, I got about 4-6 hours of longevity which isn’t amazing but it’s about to be expected. It’s a great fragrance and people will definitely smell you and enjoy it!

Invictus Platinum is stellar. I love fragrances that balance freshness and sweetness and this executes it perfectly. The fresh/sweet combo gives it some added character and distinction, making it more discernible, alluring and easier to pick up in the air. I love the source of the freshness, the green notes of mint and cypress. The absinthe I believe is responsible for most of the sweetness and also adds some additional freshness. This composition is really well blended and I think it far exceeds the other Invictus freshies in both scent and versatility. These green notes are far more timeless than the sea notes. It’s like an upgraded version of Invictus EDT, better in every way and I must say I love the absinthe note. Smells similar to Born in Roma and Cobalt which are fragrances that I also love. It’s your typical mass appealing designer fragrance except it tries to take a more herbal approach. It projects nicely and you won’t have to worry about longevity as it lasts a good while. Value is great considering you could probably get yourself a 200ml for $90. It’s strikingly versatile which isn’t anything outlandish considering it’s a safe designer fragrance.

Paco Rabanne describes this scent as “heroic” (hence the review title) but if that’s the case it’s definitely not the preferred scent of a powerhouse figure. I don’t really pick up on any “woodsy” or musky/earthy notes. The freshness hits hard on open and I was getting strong Aqua di’Gio vibes. Not a bad thing but perhaps too juvenile for my current tastes. This does however settle quickly and a subtle sweetness emerges. Once that initial blast passes this is a very pleasant fragrance. I would say it lacks a bit of nuance. Deductions as follows- 1. It lacks longevity 2. Overall this isn’t very strong in sillage. If you’re going to label something “heroic” you better bring it! This is hands down my all time favorite Paco Rabanne Invictus. This is so beautifully crafted and elegant at the same time. This doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it takes the original and makes it ten times better and more beautiful. Hands down this is a must try and I would absolutely call it blind buy worthy. This easily became a must purchase after my first smell. It's so smooth and well rounded, I can see most people pulling this off in any kind of social and working setting. Just crown this king of the Paco Rabanne house and let it give you all the attention you want. Highly recommend this one any day of the year!

I was sent this product by Influenster and Paco rabanne in exchange for my honest opinion and I loved this one. Is refreshing and in the opening I get citrus and its refreshing smells very appealing. In the mid smooths out with lavender and oak moss. Finishing up with mint and patchouli. I don't get much patchouli of my skin the refreshing mint is throughout the whole time. Definitely has the invictus dna. Would reccomend atleast to get your nose on it. Best season spring,summer day or night. Lasted 6-8 hours on my skin with a projection about 1 hour 30 minutes.

Very nice mature masculine fragrance.

I received a sample size of invictus platinum ray de perfume free for my honest review from Influenster. I really enjoyed this fragrance despite my initial impressions. At first the top notes are strong of lavender and cypress but after a half hour the lavender blends nicely with the citrus and it lasts. This way all day. I would wear this to church or a nice dinner and it would definitely go nicely with the mood. It’s a mature masculine fragrance that comforts with the lavender blend. This surprised me because I enjoyed it much more than I thought I was going to.
