This is a staple in so many households. I wish I used it Religiously when I was pregnant and afterwords so I didn’t have the marks I do now. I posted a pic of the bottle and the lotion and also a pic of my one calf. Should of posted my stretch marks but didn’t. Honestly this lotion isn’t great and it’s really just “ Mediocre” at best. So much better lotion out there. Jergens and Nivea are great also hempz is my fave. This has never helped with any of the claims it does … neither does their bleaching cream. Obviously they’re doing something right if they’re still in business lol The smell is okay .. it’s nice coco buttery and if I smell it I recognize it immediately.

Cocoa Butter is the best thing for your skin!!!

I’ve been using cocoa butter for about a couple years now. This is probably one of the cheapest and the most effective body lotions out there.It smells so good, no added chemicals or fragrances just simple ingredients. Leaves your skin feeling super soft. I’m leaving a review for this pump version because it’s so much easier to dispense smaller quantities because a little bit really does go along way with this stuff. I’ve tried so many body lotions and this one’s my go to always! It smells like warm vanilla with hints of chocolate. Not too overpowering of a natural fragrance.

Not the same product!

I prefer the original formula!!! I don’t know why they altered the original formula! The new jar says new look and same great formula. However, something is different. I’ve been using this all my life and this product in the new jar is not the same as the original formula. The old jar had more shine and it was thicker. The original cocoa butter lasts longer on my skin. The new jar is making my skin dry. My skin is never dry in the summer. It’s usually dry in the winter and Cocoa butter is what I use to revive it. Usually I only have to apply cocoa butter once a day, but with whatever is in this new jar I’m applying multiple times a day. I’m not satisfied with this. Why fix what was not broken? Please don't use benzyl cinnamate, benzyl benzoate

The original formula was wonderful. I still have an old jar with a small remnant and it did not need the extra additives. The ingredients listed on the current jar up to carotene are the same as the old formula. The ones that were added in several years ago are the benzyl cinnamate, benzyl benzoate, isopropyl myristate, sunflower oil and corn oil. Benzyl cinnamate and benzyl benzoate rate high as skin irritants and for immunotoxicity. The addition of corn oil and sunflower oil seems unnecessary in terms of adding anything positive to the formula. But my main concern are the additives that cause allergic reactions. Please go back to the old simpler formula, it was perfect for 40 years.

Something's changed...

Just want to chime in and echo the other comments about this product being different. I'm somebody that can't use lip products. I have bad reactions to artificial sweeteners and that knocks out a lot of products. I'd try using lip products that didn't have sweeteners in them and I'd end up with lips that felt even worse because they felt like they had been set on fire! I turned to this product once I decided to just give up on lip products. I'd apply this to my lips and at least it was soothing and my constantly chapped lips weren't as chapped. Well, last few times I've used this product has brought back a light sensation of my lips being on fire. Not as bad as other products but it still doesn't feel well either.I don't know where to turn now. Why did I wait so long?

I've been seeing this product all over social media, and, like most people was a bit leery of trying it because not everything works for every skin-type and person. But since this was so affordable, I added it to my delivery order and figured trying it wouldn't hurt. Oh. Oh my goodness. This smells like I wrapped myself up in a rich cocoa blanket. Not only is it non-greasy, but it absorbs super quickly, making my skin and hands feel de-vine. I rubbed this in all over my body after using a sugar scrub in the shower and covered everything but the bottoms of my feet (forgot.) When I got in bed, I immediately noticed how rough and dry and weird the bottoms of my feet felt compared to the silky smoothness of the rest of my skin. You can apply this just by using your hands, or turn the container upside down, give it a good hard tap on the bottom, and opening the container upside down to rub it like a bar all over your skin. Unfortunately, it was too warm/soft for me to use it as a bar, but it quickly melts with body heat. I am now wondering how I lived my life without this and interested in trying other Palmer's products. Must have!
