Palmer's Cocoa Butter Natural Bronze Body Lotion 250 ml

My friends and I grew up using this product! It was a must have! \n\nIt comes in a beachy looking pump bottle and the product is easy to dispense. It definitely has a coconut scent to it but I quite like it, be mindful if you use it before bed time that it will make your sheets smell like coconut/fake tan! I do always like to have a rinse once it’s absorbed so it’s not super obvious to everyone that I smell like fake tan! It also reminded me to moisturise when I was looking pale! \n\nI found after multiple uses and ‘coating’ I did have to be careful around certain dry skin areas like around armpits, knees, ankles, wrists as the colour could build up quite dark. I would apply less on those areas or thin it out with a plain moisturiser. Also make sure to wash your hands afterward as it would become patchy there too and leave your palms dark. After I was my hands I would just rub my hands together making sure to include the wrists so there wasn’t a distinct line between where the water washes off the product and where the cream was. It just helps give a natural finish. \n\nMy skin has a sort of yellow undertone and I found this product made me look a little too yellow, I’ve since found other gradual tanning products that match my skin colour better. \n\nHowever, for the price this is a good product to give a go and see if it works for you!! \n\n

Really love that the product comes in a pump pack- it makes it really easy to apply- its a very thick lotion and I find that I only need 1-2 pumps for each section on the skin! The lotion to me is very thick, but I find it quite easy to rub it- its very creamy and smooth! I have noticed that more and im going a bit orange.\nI think if this one works for you its great- if it doesn't work with your base tones its too orange- just remember though not to apply every day or you will be orange as! Good soft skin though!\n\n

When I was pregnant with my son, many moons ago(!), I was so afraid of getting stretch marks or just loose skin! I went online to find out what other expectant Mothers were using. Palmer's seemed to be the winner hands down. So I tried it and now I won't try anything else! It's just an added bonus that Palmer's started adding more and more products for me to try. My bathroom now looks like a shrine to Palmer's!

This has to be one of my favorite products of all time. One of the only lotions that actually works on my SUPER dry skin. And it smells AMAZING. I will put it on and people often ask me if I’m wearing a sweet smelling perfume. I love the bottle that comes with a pump, makes it super convenient and easy. I keep multiple of these around my house (particularly in the winter) for when my skin gets dry. LOVE IT

I love this lotion! It makes my skin feel really moisturized without that lingering lotion feel. It also smells very good. it lasts all day, can survive multiple times of hand washing, and doesn't feel slippery or like a film is covering it. I LOVE it. Although it’s fragrance free, there are still hints of the cocoa scent but not as strong. I swear by Palmer’s products, I use the moisturizer EVERY SINGLE DAY. I use it all over my body including on my face as part as my morning and evening skincare routine. I suffer badly with a bunch of skin issues and this is the only product that helps. It smells amazing. It blends in nicely and doesn’t stay tacky or oily or leaves a bad residue. It’s amazing. Would 100% recommend.

I posted a pic of the bottle and the lotion and also a pic of my one calf. Should of posted my stretch marks but didn’t. Honestly this lotion isn’t great and it’s really just “ Mediocre” at best. So much better lotion out there. Jergens and Nivea are great also hempz is my fave. This has never helped with any of the claims it does … neither does their bleaching cream. Obviously they’re doing something right if they’re still in business lol The smell is okay .. it’s nice coco buttery and if I smell it I recognize it immediately.

Easy & effective natural looking bronzer

This is my first use of a fake tan product. I had read up on various products, how to apply, etc. I thought this would be a safe product & it has more than met my expectations. I applied it fairly sparingly the first time with a velvet glove after exfoliating & had no problems with streaks. I could see a difference after a couple of hrs, if that. I used it the next day a bit more liberally & ended up with the results I was after. Still looking tanned a week after the last application. I used it to even up non-tanned areas & it looks the same tan as my natural one. Very happy & I will get more.

Great colour, easy to apply - impossible to remove

I bought this recently as I am very pale skinned and sick of being so white throughout the summer and finding traditional self tanning products too difficult to look natural. I liked the smell and texture of this and it was easy to reply and felt very moisturising, and was pleased that the colour was natural and buildable over a few days if you wish. However as like all fake tans, after a week or so it needs to be removed so you can start again and this is where the problem started. So I tried everything including body scrubs, wet flannels with baby oil, Exfoliating mitt et cetera and still couldn’t get it all off whilst my skin was left red raw. Unfortunately this has put me off using it again.

Not what it says on the bottle!

I was hoping that this would give a slow, gentle glow to the skin. But it doesn’t. It works exactly like a self tanner. After applying, the next morning I had stained hands, tanned areas on legs that were drier than others and a strong biscuity fake tan smell. If you want a self tanner, then great. But if you want a gradual build up and a moisturiser, then this is not that.Shame as I love palmers usually
