Palmer's Cocoa Butter Natural Bronze Body Lotion 400ml

i grew up using cocoa butter as a kid and have just started again at college age!!! i love coca butter it smells AMAZING, its so moisturizing, and really leaves me feeling brand new and super soft. I prefer to use natural cocoa butter because of the benefits but this is a nice choice when I’m feeling a little lazy to rub raw cocoa butter into my skin! will always love you!!!

This lotion is an all rounder great product that every household should have stocked up. It has a beautiful light coconut fragrance which isn’t too strong and potent which leaves your body smelling delightful . It soaks in so well into the skin keeping it soft and smooth as well as very hydrated. Also great for the healing part of tattoos because of the fragrance free as my partner always gets recommended this by the man.

When I was pregnant with my son, many moons ago(!), I was so afraid of getting stretch marks or just loose skin! I went online to find out what other expectant Mothers were using. Palmer's seemed to be the winner hands down. So I tried it and now I won't try anything else! It's just an added bonus that Palmer's started adding more and more products for me to try. My bathroom now looks like a shrine to Palmer's!

I LOVE it. Although it’s fragrance free, there are still hints of the cocoa scent but not as strong. I swear by Palmer’s products, I use the moisturizer EVERY SINGLE DAY. I use it all over my body including on my face as part as my morning and evening skincare routine. I suffer badly with a bunch of skin issues and this is the only product that helps. It smells amazing. It blends in nicely and doesn’t stay tacky or oily or leaves a bad residue. It’s amazing. Would 100% recommend.

This is a staple in so many households. I wish I used it Religiously when I was pregnant and afterwords so I didn’t have the marks I do now. I posted a pic of the bottle and the lotion and also a pic of my one calf. Should of posted my stretch marks but didn’t. Honestly this lotion isn’t great and it’s really just “ Mediocre” at best. So much better lotion out there. Jergens and Nivea are great also hempz is my fave. This has never helped with any of the claims it does … neither does their bleaching cream. Obviously they’re doing something right if they’re still in business lol The smell is okay .. it’s nice coco buttery and if I smell it I recognize it immediately.

Easy & effective natural looking bronzer

This is my first use of a fake tan product. I had read up on various products, how to apply, etc. I thought this would be a safe product & it has more than met my expectations. I applied it fairly sparingly the first time with a velvet glove after exfoliating & had no problems with streaks. I could see a difference after a couple of hrs, if that. I used it the next day a bit more liberally & ended up with the results I was after. Still looking tanned a week after the last application. I used it to even up non-tanned areas & it looks the same tan as my natural one. Very happy & I will get more.

Great colour, easy to apply - impossible to remove

I bought this recently as I am very pale skinned and sick of being so white throughout the summer and finding traditional self tanning products too difficult to look natural. I liked the smell and texture of this and it was easy to reply and felt very moisturising, and was pleased that the colour was natural and buildable over a few days if you wish. However as like all fake tans, after a week or so it needs to be removed so you can start again and this is where the problem started. So I tried everything including body scrubs, wet flannels with baby oil, Exfoliating mitt et cetera and still couldn’t get it all off whilst my skin was left red raw. Unfortunately this has put me off using it again.

...this is not. Please feel free to ignore the low star reviews from the delicate flowers complaining about the pong and/or colour of this lotion as neither is particularly true. On a good day I am usually the colour of an exhumed corpse (read: Pantone 290 C) yet after 2-3 applications of this stuff (which I found by complete chance as I am not normally this vain, but after such a lousy summer I decided to take action) I seemingly appear to now have a healthy glow (not jaundiced). And all without the lingering aroma of either coconuts or chocolate. Or orange hands for that matter (because I read the instructions before using it). I like Palmers. Their stuff works. It has a fragrance, but it does not linger. And if youve prepared yourself properly beforehand then ... More...this is not. THE BEST TAN FOR RED HEADS!

okay so I bought this about a month ago and I didn't have high hopes because of how cheap it was but now I've just bought my second bottle! I'm naturally ginger with extremely pale skin and freckles and I swear to god this is the best tan I've ever used. The tone of it is just perfect for my skin! Something else that I was pleasantly surprised about was that this is the first tan to ever colour my shins! My shins usually just stay pale while my thighs tan and I have to go in later with body makeup but not with this one! So, I exfoliate the morning of tanning and then apply the cocoa butter formula lotion (just because I have very dry skin, but you could just apply this to knees/elbows) and then about 6-8 hours later apply the tan with latex gloves (strange I know ... Moreokay so I bought this about a month ago and I didn't have high hopes because of how cheap it was but now I've just bought my second bottle! As a result the most natural tan and moisturised skin - I do it again the next day too, but by then I've reached my desired colour :)

Use gloves!

You need to use latex gloves and rub it until it’s dry on every body part. Leaving it wet will cause streaks. Absolutely love this product. Most natural looking tan with just one layer and can build it up over a few days for a deeper tan. I’m eczema prone and it doesn’t stick to my dry patches when I use this method either.
