Palmer's Olive Oil Formula Conditioning Spray Oil 150ml

Olive oil is supposed to be good for your hair and I believe this product does help your hair. It leaves a shiny look. But a little goes a very long way. You can't use a lot because it will make your hair look and feel greasy. I have tried to put this in my hair wet and dry. It doesn't say when to apply it but I believe it works best on dry hair. It will make your hair grow a little faster if you massage it into your scalp. I wouldnt advise spraying it directly on the hair either. One or two sprays in your hand should do. The main thing I hate though is it's very oily and it gets in my neck and face and breaks me out and makes me feel oily. It's hard to get off your skin. But it does help make your hair look healthier.

I spray this on my daughter protective hair style every morning! It keeps it shiny and moisturized! It makes it look so good and it has her hair grow! I definitely will buy this again and I will keep using this daily!

Best Hair Product

I use this product as a base for my gels that doesn’t have ANY protein for my scalp. I just spray one time and this makes a HUGE difference in my hair. I enjoy constantly using this product because it has castor oil and adds shine which helps promote hair growth. I love EVERYTHING about this product there’s nothing I DISLIKE.

Best smoothing oil for frizz without the weight!

This product has been out of stock at my local store, so to finally find a bonus size online with free delivery was fabulous news for my mostly curly hair with a mind of it's own. (I use this oil to tame the frizz and it works like magic, whether I go straight or curly!)

Downgrade

The product gets two stars for the nice smell. As for whether it works? Well now that we’ve substituted Some of the ingredients. Mainly added water to water it down and now there are sulfates. The product does nothing to shine the hair. It used to work on my hair it no longer does. Please use your old formula. I understand it’s more closely but it’s a better product.

Drying & Heavy

I was really disappointed with this product. I bought it in my local Superdrug as it was literally the only conditioning spray in the store (I normally buy a Loreal leave in spray conditioner but this was nowhere to be seen). I'm sure there are some types of hair that this is good for, but for my hair this is one of the worst products I have used - I have long straight hair, it isn't 'thick' but there's quite a lot of it. Compared to other conditioner sprays I've used that are lightweight and make your hair feel fresh, this spray was extremely heavy and made my hair extremely greasy (I've tried to use this both when hair was wet and on dry hair too). Made my scalp break out, dry out, flake, itch.

I guess I am the unlucky customer who is allergic to this product because I bought it this past Saturday and it completely damaged my scalp. I wasn’t sure what was making my scalp so dry, flaky, itchy, sore and unbearable, but I kept using the spray to fight the itching. It just got worse by the day and before I knew it, I had scabs all throughout my scalp. I assumed olive oil would be fine, but it’s probably something else in the ingredients that made my scalp react the way it did. I ended up tossing it. Some things just don’t work for everyone.

Not Good!

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. I don't know why you changed your formula, but you need to go back! This oil is too light and does not give my hair the moisture it was getting with your old product, 'Conditioning Spray Oil with Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Keratin, Conditions Hair & Scalp'. With your old formula, I had finally found a product that worked on my hair, since another brand's product I was using was discontinued. Now I have to start looking for something else, again. I don't need frizz control, I need an oil that will moisturize my hair properly and not just 'cover' it.

Not the same product

I used to use this oil (now an oil & water formula) when I wash my hair or need a shine boost between washings. I ran out and decided to buy a replacement. Apparently I was using the old product which had a different formula. The old formula was oil and made my hair shiny. This new product which makes my hair dry and frizzy. I was wondering why. It just didn’t make sense so I looked at the new formula and realized there’s water in it! What on earth!? In an effort to lessen the cost of making the product you’ve also lessen the quality of the product. I will not be buying this product again. This product no longer serves its purpose.
