Package was open when it arrived. Seems like a return item. The package of the batteries were also battered and creased. Giving an image of fake batteries. However, from the weight of the batteries seems legit. Seller did not come back to me re the open package. Be careful.

Nothing to comment on the item since it is a genuine item, thus nothing to worry in the quality. Seller performance was top notch, items were carefully wrap and protected, so when i received it came in very pristine condition. Seller went beyond expectation by sharing his knowledge on rechargeable battery etc which is very helpful. So guys, if you are reading this comment and still contemplating to purchase the item, i suggest nothing to worry about, just add to cart then proceed to checkout. Thumbs up!!!

Absolute Best You Can Buy...

Eneloops have been around for many years and are THE standard by which all others are measured. The Pro version has a higher capacity/sustained power output compared to standard Eneloops as well as other brands in general. Of course the trade-off is a decrease in usable lifespan, but that's something I can certainly live with and I seriously doubt most users would put the same batch of cells through 500+ charge/discharge cycles with typical every day use. Keep in mind the Pro version is for high output devices such as high power LED flashlights, video game controllers, things of that nature. Using them on low consumption devices would truly be a waste of time/money/resources. Without question the key to performance and longevity is a capable charger. You don't want to charge them too slow or too fast as both can be detrimental over time. Too fast can cause heat degradation and too slow can fool many chargers into not peaking correctly and they continue to slowly charge indefinitely. I do suggest investing in a quality 'smart' charger that charges each bay individually, allows user changes/settings to get the expected end result, etc. For high quality/performance/repeatable Ni-MH cells I will never stray from the Eneloop Pro.**This is my first order with these great folks and the service/price/shipping was indeed top notch**

I initially bought the charger which came with two pairs of batteries and was so happy with the purchase that I decided to get the 8 pack. Couldn't be happier. The batteries come charged (80% or so) which allows them to be used straight out of the pack. Recharging them takes a bit but as far as I am aware fast recharge times means fewer recharge cycles so I'm not going to complain about that.If you're looking for high capacity lithium-ion batteries this is the way to go. I currently use them in an apple magic mouse which gets about 8-12 hours of use per day 5-6 days a week (I work from home), and I get about 3.5 weeks out of a fully charged battery. Good battery built poorly. Falls apart quickly.

The problem with these batteries is you will loose the outer case after no time at all. The outer layer is thick foil like and in a month or two it will stat to fall apart and with in a few months your battery will be for the most part silver and because of this they have a hard time staying in my charger. So I use them and they work well but in my opinion and vast experience, they are made like a light bulb to fail. I am going to try to find another brand that does not fall apart. These do the job but made so poorly they fall apart.

Good but not perfect

I have been using the Panasonic rechargeable AA NiMH batteries for many years (I must have about 30 of them) mainly into my five SB-900 Nikon flashes.They are powerful and have a working life that is more than 10 years.The only drawback about NiMH batteries is that they don't keep the charge for a very long time and I have to recharge them at last once a month even if I don't use them during that period.I never had a chemical leak in my Panasonic batteries.

Not as advertised!!!

Here's how the advertisement reads: Thanks to their very low self-discharge rate, the batteries will retain up to 85% of their charge after 1 year in storage. Engineered for durability, the eneloop pros perform well in extreme temperatures as low as -4F. I've used these in a camera trap in average winter temperatures in Pennsylvania for two winters. The second winter they started shutting down the camera when it gets in the 30's Fahrenheit range, but when warmed up, they show that they are fully charged! No help from B & H, as they stated that they were out of warranty. They said to go through the company. No help there either. A waste of $60+ of my money.

Okay Value

I gave1 star for affordability1 star for sourceability1 star for staying power, I use mine mainly in my console controllers which are used daily although if a gaming session longer than 4hrs these will need to be swapped out. Otherwise can last at least 3 days in controller.1 star removed for the fact I've had another pack for a year and they no longer charge1 star removed for staying power could be better.Considering these are better than the Energizer rechargeable batteries they still aren't the best and so I'm still on the hunt for batteries that will last longer than a year before I need to replace them, how do I know they need to be replaced, the charging dock flashes yellow on specific batteries, hence getting this pack.

[Rewarded Review] Batteries that last!!!

Needed rechargeable batteries for a small battery powered guitar amp I got. Was tired of constantly having to get new batteries and spending all the money for them. I like having something battery operated so I can take it anywhere. It’s also nice to have high quality batteries. The price was perfect and it’s nice that there are eight of the batteries. Means I will always have charged batteries for all of my devices. Great product. Only thing was I needed to pick up a charger. They are easy to find and they all work really well.
