This is my first purchase from Panasonic. Previously I used a Philips shaver and had constant irritation, so I decided to switch to something new. Found many good reviews on Panasonic but LV series. Considered ES-LS9A and ES-LS6A but bought the 9A because I didn't have a station before and decided to give it a go. Not disappointed so far. Better than a traditional razor for me

I have always struggled shaving with a razor. My skin would get so irritated and patchy afterwards, tried heaps of different creams and razors nothing worked. Would always react and bleed even when I'd go to professional barber. So I bit the bullet and bought my first electric shaver.My first impressions were not overly great. I normally shaved once a week as it was such a pain and kept that same routine when went electric. My first few attempts were dry and I wasn't overly happy as it took a long time with the week long stubble and I found I'd have to touch up with razor afterwards anyway.After reading some info online I purchased Speick pre and post shave lotion and moved to a twice weekly shave. Hopefully it will help you make shaving more bearable as it as helped me.

Brilliant but pricey

After using this shaver for a couple of weeks I have to say that this is the closest shaver i have ever owned. Over the years Ive had several different brands but Panasonic by far provides the closest shave by a country mile.The shaver ifeels well built and premium quality. I wasn't sure about spending so much on a shaver but you are paying for the best shaver currently on the market. If you can stretch to afford this shaver you won't be disappointed.

Excellent shaver and cleaning unit

I’ve had this for about a month now. Expensive but not an expensive mistake like the Braun Series 9 Pro. Both are excellent shavers but the Panasonic cleaning unit leaves the shaver completely dry, ready for the next day. With the Braun I frequently found it was still wet (and cold) the next morning and it didn’t have a dedicated drying function, which the Panasonic does. Not that I’ve had to use it so far as it dries properly after cleaning anyway. The problem with the Braun was partly my own fault as I have to initiate the cleaning process in the evening so it didn’t give it long enough to dry. But the Panasonic is completely dry the follow morning after an evening clean.For me, the Panasonic gives a slightly closer shave than the Braun did when it was new but ... MoreI’ve had this for about a month now. This shaver's motor is whisper-quiet, making your grooming experience peaceful and undisturbed, especially if you prefer to shave early in the morning or late at night. The cleaning dock when in operation can make a little noise so please be mindful of that when using.Aside from the little noise I love the cleaning dock that takes care of all the mess for you and keeps everything running smoothly.I wont say it shaves as close as a blade and I don't believe any electric shaver ever will. But this has certainly been a great asset for myself, saving time and mess and great to put in its travel case when going away on holidays. The convenience of this shaver is the big thing that I have really enjoyed. And the fact you don't get any cuts or redness is a fantastic bonus.The head to the shaver is quite large (6 blades) but again over time you really get to understand how to get the best out of the device.The shaver is exceptionally well built and ergonomic in design. It sits in the hand well and is extremely easy to maneuver.All in all its a fantastic product and a real pleasure to use and ended up exceeding my expectations in every aspect. Its quiet operation, superior cleaning dock, and ability to provide a smooth, close shave make it a pleasure to use.

Looks good, but has bugs like my previous 5 blade

I had a look at one of these shavers today and was disappointed that it has the wobbly head. I have the 5 blade version and hate it due to the collective scum that collects between the head and body when shaving in the shower. It is almost impossible to get it clean and charging it when wet leads to problems.Have my current unit replaced twice under warranty.Panasonic can do better if they provide fixed head and better water proof charging facilities!

I upgraded from my 4 year old Panasonic 5 blade electric razor to the newer 6 blade model. There is a noticeable difference. The larger head makes shaving quicker and results in a closer shave. The new razor is also a little quieter in operation. I’m very happy with my new razor.

Purchased this beauty just on recommendation from the Shaver Shop assistant who said that this razor was great.She wasn’t lying it is truly amazing, after years of battling with shave rash using wet shaves and my old electric rotary shaver I have never had a shave so smooth and no rash.My confidence has been restored in electric shavers.Guys it’s time to ditch the wet shaves

Well it was time to update my Braun, Top of the Range, Shaver. There were some deals on offer with Braun and I was tempted but I decided to look around first.I liked what I saw with the Panasonic, Top of the Range Shaver, and finally went ahead with this purchase.I must tell you, it was the very best decision I have made recently!! WOW what a Shaver.I actually found that shaving areas of my face where, with the Braun, I would have to run over them 2 times, with the Panasonic this was not the case. One pass was more than enough and my overall shaving time was reduced.Very well made piece of shaving equipment and setting up the cleaning station on my bathroom bench was a breeze (Taking up less room than the Braun did).I did write to Panasonic with One ... MoreWell it was time to update my Braun, Top of the Range, Shaver. Only ONE Satchel of Cleaning Solution was supplied with the Shaver. This really surprised me and made me feel somewhat let down.If you PAY a Premium, for a top of the range shaver, surely a number of cleaning satchels could be included. Penny Pinching on a Shaver like this one, just isn't worth it Panasonic!!I did note that this Shaver was a lot quieter than the Braun I had been using. I hope that this continues and that the Shaver remains quieter!!I did also note that the Cleaner did take a lot longer to complete it's cycle than the Braun did, but I can only assume this is a good thing, as I will know each time that I go to use this Shaver that it has been thoroughly cleaned!!Early days, but I'm wrapped in this Shaver and the only regret is that I didn't change from Braun to Panasonic earler!!You will NOT be disappointed!!
