Have not had much experience yet but so far I am impressed. I was looking for a good all purpose travel lens, for both video and stills, and this seems just the job being small and lightweight.

The Lumix 28-200 is an outstanding travel lens. I am using it on a Leica SL3 and it handles the demands of the 60megapixel sensor. The lens is lightweight but well-constructed and is weather sealed. I would highly recommend this a travel lens and keeping your luggage weight to the minimum.

I've had this lens for a week now. It's mounted on my S5 and has turned that combination of camera and lens into my favorite take anywhere combo. The weight and feel of this lens makes it a joy to use. That this lens gives you access to f45 from 70 to 200mm for great DOF while at the same time being a macro lens is mind bending. I could wax on about how I like it, but I will just say you should have no hesitation purchasing this lens. Lumix does it again.

I have a Leica SL 2 with the 24 to 90 2.8 to f 4. AMAZING products but a very heavy combo. This was suggest by B and H representative . I have been using it non stop and looking forward for a vacation and enjoy my new combo. I shot indoors at 6400 ISO and the results were phenomenal. I am keeping this one!!!!!!
I have been super happy with this lens. Very compact for the focal range, and macro as a bonus. In lens stabilization is great for cameras that don’t have IBIS, like my fp L.
28 -200 mm is a huge range, it’s so versatile so much fun to use. Optical image stabilization is very steady, when combined with IBIS it can be very effective. I can take a long exposure photo hand held with no problem. As a bonus you can also shoot pretty decent macro shots. It does have variable aperture, under low light it can be a little bit of a torture test if you shoot from far away.
I bought this lens as a lightweight wide/zoom for a 60megapixel camera. The lens delivers sharp images even when challenged by the high res sensor. It also does macro images and this makes it ver versatile. The image stabilisation works well. The only downside is the slow f7.1 at 200mm. I would buy this lens again.
The lightest all-in-one zoom no question. Been using it for a while. Love it!
