IT'S SLEEK DESIGN WITH IT'S NEW INVERTER TECHNOLGY MAKES THIS MACHINE AS GOOD AS IT GETS. THE DIFFERENCE IS IMMEDIATELY EVIDENT IN THE GREAT TASTING COOKED FOODS. WHEN YOU COOK FOODS WITH THIS MICROWAVE WHETHER THEY'RE RAW OR FROZEN THEY ALL COME OUT COOKED EVENLY, HOT AND READY TO EAT. I STEAM MY VEGGIES EVERY DAY USING A MICROWAVE STEAMER AND THEY COME OUT INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS. I COULD NEVER EAT MEAT COOKED IN A MICROWAVE UNTIL I TRIED COOKING IT WITH THIS PANASONIC. This is a well-designed microwave oven. The Power Inverter is an amazing feature to slow cook foods. Programming is easy, and the Owner's Manual is helpful. It has a nice amount of interior space, but a small exterior footprint for its size. I highly recommend this oven. I ordered mine through the Lowes online website, and had it shipped to a local Lowes store; it arrived in a timely manner, and in perfect condition. I'm a happy camper!

Bought this to replace my previous Panasonic microwave that lasted 20 years.This one was a bit weaker out of the gate, but ok.After about 2 years, it couldn't handle microwaving a bowl of soup or a sweet potato without breaks. After 5 minutes, it would overheat to the point you could smell electronics overheating.Sure enough, just after 2 years of operation, it died with an H98 error code.No more Panasonic microwaves for me ... :(

I replaced a 10 year old version of this model with a new one. This newer model is a bit smaller than my old one, on the inside. Still enough for me, but a larger casserole dish might now fit. It is still a little noisy, and while the door doesn't slam as loudly as the previous model, it is also noisy when you close it. Noise level when cooking is OK, not quiet but not so loud it disturbs. I have mine in the pantry where i can't hear it as much, I am not sure how I would feel about it if it was right in my kitchen, the noise might bother me more. I guess you can't expect a microwave to be all that quiet. Now as for how it cooks, this new model does a great job heating food quickly. My older model had a message that displayed once the cooking time was done. It said "enjoy your food" or something like that and it was a moving display. This one doesn't have that, so it is easier to forget that you cooked something and haven't removed it yet. When we entertain and re-heat lots of food, that message is important. It gets our attention that the food is done. Now it just goes back to the clock. Easy to leave something in the microwave, especially when there are multiple cooks using the microwave.
This is a wonderful microwave. It is just the right size for me, the dimensions given are very accurate. The 1200 W rating is excellent. It heats things quickly and get things quite hot in a reasonable amount of time. The door opens and closes very smooth and easy. The touch pad is very responsive and needs only a light touch. This is a great microwave. Very glad I purchased it.

I picked it up to replace an aging Magic Chef and I have to say, it has been a great purchase. I mean if the company is good enough to reliably power my car, it's good enough to cook my food - fast and evenly.The size is ideal for our needs. It fits nicely on a metal Inter Metro shelf that you get from the Container Store. The oven itself fits a dinner plate with room to spare. You can even silence it in case you want to press the buttons and hear nothing.I've read complaints about the microwave interfering with wireless technology but I've experienced none of it. Bought this microwave to replace an older model of the same microwave. The last one lasted us 18 years, so hopefully this one will last a long time as well. Just wanted a well functioning, simple microwave that could sit on the counter. This one isn't too big and can fit a 10" dinner plate. Big enough without being too large. Enough reheat and thaw options without being too complex. Perfect for us. Would recommend. Good value and easy to use.
The 1200 watt Panasonic microwave is SUPER! I love the Sensor Cook! It has 14 items to choose from and everything I've tried comes out perfectly. The reheat sensor is good also, although I have obly used it a few times. Everythingis done much faster than my old microwave. My only negative review is that the chrome or silver colored bar across the bottom of the front of the microwave continu.ally needs to be wipede off as it collects finger prints every time you open the microwave door. I would purchase this same item again.
My existing Panasonic microwave stopped working on December 2, 2022After comparsion shopping online Walmart had the model of Panasonic Microwave I wanted such as table top model no NN-SN686S, wattage 1200 watt, 1.2 cu ft, with new functions on touchpads (popcorn with 3 options) and plus quick 30 along with turntable. Walmart had the best price than the other on line sites. Ordering online was easy, the price was a plus and delivery to my home with 2-3 days was appreciated. I received the microwave oven in 1 day on December 3rd. Thanks
Welp. We have had it 11 months and yesterday I put a tablespoon of butter on a paper plate to melt it and hit the 30 second button and WOOOOMF!!! There was a loud noise and I look at the microwave and I can see BIG flames shooting from the right to the left on the inside. I immediately hit stop and pull the plug out of the wall and then put the fire out with water. I am so so so grateful that I did not get far away from it and that I didn’t burn down my house.I would not recommend this microwave nor would I recommend any microwave by Panasonic. I’ve now spoken to two people that had their microwave catch on fire and both of them were Panasonic models. Run away!And yes, Panasonic has offered to replace it with the exact same model after I send pictures of the ... MoreWelp.
