Paula's Choice Boost 10% Niacinamide Booster, Vitamin B3, Vitamin C &

I have been on a serious skin journey since the beginning of the pandemic when I stopped wearing makeup daily . I wanted to have the best skin I could possibly have and for once in my life that I felt confident in.I've had moderate acne in my teens and am very prone to scarring and hyperpigmentation. Amazing

I use it only once a day, at night. I have combination-oily acne prone skin. This has done wonders for my skin, along with Clear cleanser.I am 29 and have had acne for about 10years, until now. I lost all hope of ever having clear skin on my face again. I can't believe that only a cleanser and this product helped me after milion different things. The cleanser definitely helps control the oil because it has 0.5% salicylic acid (2% is waay too strong for me and makes things worse, my skin is sensitive and becomes very dry with inflamed acne). I would recommend this product, my pores are much smaller, my skin tone even, and I am so happy!!

For all skin types

This 10% Niacinamide Booster is a game changer. It is water based and not oily. It has brightened and even out my skin tone. It has helped my dryness, fine lines, on my sensitive skin without any irritation. I use this with my Paula's Choice cleanser, toner, exfoliator as my first step after cleanser. My pores look smaller since using this Boost. I am so glad it is for all skin types because in the summer months my face isn't as dry as the Winter months are. I love this brand more than any brand I have owned.

I bought this product for the first time in April this year due to my pores at the time being incredibly large and visible, I could not use a tan in my face due to my pores making it look very uneven etc. This product has made my fine lines in my forehead look much smoother, and my pores are no longer an issue to me. After using this I can tan again and my make up lays much better. Skin type: Honestly don't know, but would describe it as oily but with easily surface dry skin in the winter. I tried this product 4 years ago, it was ok-ish, I didn't really appreciate it to the degree it deserves as I wasn't using it religiously as I am using it now. I have finally set up a proper skincare routine for me and it works! I ordered this product a month ago and was using it in the morning and in the evening as part of my routine: Morning: Cleanse, tone, 10% Niacinamide, Intensive Wrinkle-Repair Retinol Treatment (Resist), SPF, Foundation. The Niacinamide Booster has helped banish my post inflammatory pigmentation that's been hanging around my chin area for months following some hormonal breakouts. I'm pale skinned so these were really noticeable but have disappeared altogether! This means I can now confidently go make-up-free or use a sheerer coverage when I do chose to wear make-up. I don't enjoy the product as much when used on its own given as it has a squeaky-like texture so mixing it with a moisturiser is my preferred way to apply. It goes on like a dream, no piling even if layered. I use 3-4 drops per application, AM and PM, and still have plenty of product left I'd say its good value for money. Made No Difference In My Skin and Clogged Pores

The application process in my opinion was a little awkward, because of the fact that it has a toner-like consistency yet it is much more potent and concentrated than a toner, meaning that you should only a small amount compared to when you apply a toner. Because of this, the thin watery texture of the Niacinamide Booster makes it hard to spread evenly across your face when applying it on its own. I understand that Paula's Choice suggests the option of mixing with another serum or a moisturizer, so perhaps that it the ideal way to go. Overall for me it was not a great experience applying this product alone.Besides the texture of the product, I have been using this Niacinamide 10% Booster in every PM routine and most of my AM routines for my acne-prone skin. I recently realized that I am almost finished with the bottle, but unfortunately my skin has showed no signs of improvement in regards to blemishes, redness, and especially clogged pores. (In fact my skin is probably in worse condition than it was before I began using this product.)I've only had the product for less than 8 weeks and have had no improvements, and for a relatively small bottle at $46, it seemed to go by fast with little to no effect. I do appreciate Paula's Choice products, but I probably would not be repurchasing this particular niacinamide product, and might try other niacinamide serums elsewhere as I wasn't quite satisfied of how this one performed on my skin.

Unfortunately didn't work for me

I had high expectations from the product since I heard a lot of niacinamide and its magical properties. Unfortunately, it made me break out. I stopped using the product, and then restarted to check if it was indeed the serum that caused breakouts. It was indeed. At the same time, I liked the liquid form that sinks in very fast and layers well. A separate note: I do have a very sensitive skin, so not so many products work for me.I also received at first the bottle that looked like it was used or not properly sealed. I would like to thank the PC team for resolving the issue immediately. They sent me a new bottle on the same day when I registered the issue.

awesome! but packaging could be better

I love this product and it really helped ease my rosacea! it did wonders for my skin! I have mild rosacea and combination skin. I use it once a day at night and I find that the consistency is great and very light. The only con about it is that it is very watery, so one little spill almost empties out the entire product. I wish the bottle had a little more grip on the inside so it could prevent less product from spilling. I have a coupon le of serums that have this design to prevent this. I've spilled it twice and had to buy a new one twice :( besides that, overall amazing
