A problem I've always encountered when it comes to controllers is that no matter the price, no matter the quality after 6 months the controller begins to malfunction (be it stick drift or buttons becoming less responsive). Definitely an upgrade from the afterglow. I like the ezra grip triggers, I napped then to be the upper r buttons so I'm not switching between those the triggers. I may actually make a few different profiles for the different games I play, but that seems to be the best use. The cable is better quality Egan the lower end controllers as well. The joysticks work well and I actually put tips on then to get evection more control. I feel like this controller was a great investment today's fine tuning my gaming experience.

I am a violent person with regard to gamepads. I consider it a matter of pride to destroy hardware in use, as such destruction indicates that I am operating at the extreme margin. If there were a picture-definition of "abusive gamer", it would be mine. Short of hurling it at my screen like a donkey's posterior, I have dropped, tossed, stepped on, spilled countless known (and unknown...) fluids. This pad has taken such wanton abuse, seemingly, with reckless abandon...in fact, even intimidating me to go further. When the sticks get a little wonky, i just recalibrate thanks to the software and keep on crushing. #bossgamepadkilla

I got this controller to use with my (docked) Steam Deck as a 2nd player controller. The controller itself is pretty solid for being on the budget side of things, obviously not as good as any of the "real deals" like the actual Xbox controllers but far better than other cheap options like the classic Logitech F310. Worked as soon as it was plugged into the Steam Deck dock and we were able to play multiplayer just fine. However, either this controller itself has an issue or the Steam Deck has an issue with the controller where if the Steam Deck goes into sleep mode, it fails to recognize the controller's inputs afterwards and requires the Steam Deck to restart. Fixing the controller's drivers on PC might fix this, but unfortunately, PowerA's own software fails to ... MoreI got this controller to use with my (docked) Steam Deck as a 2nd player controller. At first this controller seemed perfect than as I started to use it for a couple games of Halo 5. Which is a first person shooter game, I noticed that the buttons were too small for my fingers. My shots werent registration and the up on the dpad was not working . It basically felt like a toy controller pretty much, I haven't been able to use it for my pc though , probably could use it for a fortnite game . You can edit your button layout on this controller as if you were to do it in a game. I would recommended it for starting out gamers. I usually go through controllers every 6 months to a year. The Rb button and Rt and A and joysticks are really important.
Controller lasted for about 7 months of on/off play. At time of writing this I'm starting to experience drifting on the right side of the left analog stick and sometimes not even reading that input at all. The shoulder buttons aren't press-able across the whole length of it which has lead me to make mistakes in games I've played. I'm also a bit bothered controllers now have buttons on the underside where I'm supposed to be gripping, these buttons to my knowledge aren't modifiable and are just additional "A" and "B" buttons, not even rapid press. In short, if you need a controller for a younger sibling or a co-op partner this is a good cheap option, just don't expect it to last long as a main controller.

Absolutely love it but something to note since you can’t tell by look at the box. The controller works flawlessly with my Switch and I’m able to plug it in and play sitting on the couch since the cord is long. The coolest thing is that the faceplate comes off and is compatible with their other faceplates for this style controller, I feel like this is a really nice feature and makes me more likely to buy one instead of an entire new controller when I’m bored with it. While this controller looks nice and the colors are appealing. It did not live up to my expectations. The app is great and easy to use for remapping the buttons. Other than that, this controller had quite a few cons. The back buttons are way too easy to accidentally press, causing you to mess up up your game. The supposed textured pieces still feel smooth and slick, it is a super light controller, which I do not prefer, and the menu/view buttons are flatter against the controller itself making it feel like you aren't hitting the buttons. This is best as a backup controller or for kids that don't really care too much.
