Peaceable Kingdom Gnomes at Night Board Game
Some rapscallion has made off with 12 of the Queen’s treasures and, in their haste, dropped them throughout the castle labyrinth. Two gnomes are enlisted to help recover the treasure before morning – but there’s a catch. The board stands upright with the two gnomes magnetically connected to each other on opposite sides; each side has different allowed paths and 6 of the 12 treasures. Players must work together, alternately moving their partner’s gnome through obstacles and giving their partner directions as they recover one treasure at a time. Teams may also play, taking turns as they retrieve color-coded treasures. Quick and effective communication is the only way to ensure victory, as time is not on the gnomes’ side! For 2-4 players. ~15 minute playtime.

We needed a lot more time on the glass timer. The whole game was a difficult concept for our six year old to grasp but he liked the concept of the game, just not the execution. We will walk through walks and turn the glass timer multiple times in the future.

What a great game! My 7- and 5-year-olds love it, as do the grownups in the house. Fantastic for developing communication and collaboration skills as they try to come up with shorter and shorter ways to convey the necessary information across the board.

My grandson received this game when he was six. He is now seven and still loves it. The fact that it has different mazes makes it enjoyable for many times. It is a co-operative game which is more than just playing and having fun, it is also working together!

Awesome for teaching directionsLeft and right awarenessAll whilst having fun.Different levels is good to test your skillsMy 7 year old loves it
Great concept and quality design. I especially like that the game encourages communication and cooperation- players working together and using problem solving skills to beat their own high scores and best times. The designers have included four boards of different difficulties allowing players of different ages and experience levels to be challenged at their level. I highly recommend it!
I wasn’t sure what to expect with this game. At first it seemed a little to complicated to me for my 5yo, but once I left her and my 7yo alone they figured it out quickly and had a blast working together! One of our new favorite games
My 5 year old loves all games, and this one was a hit for me too. The instructions are short and sweet, so we were up and running quickly. I love that it requires us to work together and communicate, and we celebrate together with each treasure found. The boards go from easier to harder, though I do wish there were a few more board options. I like it because so many games are focused on math or reading skills, where this focuses on logic, cooperation, clear communication, and critical thinking.
I love cooperative games for my kids because no one gets to float at the end that they are the winner and the other is a leader. I love the concept of this game. You give directions to the other player to help get the area of the game board the item is located but you cant go through the wall on your own side. There are 4 different boards that go from easy to hard.I really like that you have to work together in the game age the magnetic pieces are different and fun.The instructions were not very clear so that was a challenge to start the game but once we figured it out it was fairly simple. We played with my 6 year old and it was a little challenging for him for him but he eventually got it.
What a wonderful and unique game! I've never seen anything like it. Interesting for adults and kids. It presented quite a challenge at first, but we got better at it as we played. My 7 year old grandson loves it. It makes him think and plan and use his brain! I don't think you can play it over and over again like some games, because after awhile it becomes easy as you learn how to do it. But you can have different combinations of players, different boards and different sides, which change the game each time. I plan to introduce it to adult house guests coming next month as it will be fun for them.
Such a great game for working on communication. After a few rounds everyone was working together to collect the items and having a great time! The game pieces and cards are beautiful as well. Overall a fun experience.
