This a fantastic strap for a rangefinder sized camera (it is currently being used with a Fuji X100T) or mid-sized Compact System camera. I think something bigger such as a DSLR would require the extra security of a strap attached to both camera lugs but that is just a personal preference as this strap will take the weight. The anchor mechanism means it is quick and easy to attach and detach. The strap will even wrap around your wrist when not in use on the camera with its inbuilt magnetic clasps. It was everything I wanted and more. I could let go of the handle and not worry because the strap automatically cinched around my wrist to prevent my GoPro from hitting the ground. If you want a high quality strap that's going to keep your camera safe and sound, then look no further. Peak Design definitely knows their stuff when it comes to camera straps and now I'm a fan for life!!

I like using a wrist strap with my X-T5, alternating with my shoulder strap (also Peak Design used cross shoulder). The Peak Design camera connection system is great for quick change between the two. Connectors are tight and secure, yet easy to remove. Very happy so far.

I like the design of Peak Design items. I have a PD shoulder strap that uses the same anchors so I can change straps without having to attach another cord. I can use the same anchor. They use quality materials and it comes with a lifetime warranty. I haven't figured out what the magnet in the leather is for but I'll go to their website to find that information. I had the factory strap that came with my camera and after the strap slipped from the buckle, I watch my camera drop to the ground. Luckily, the lens filter broke but not the camera or the lens. I didn't want that to happen again. The PD anchors slide in place and snap to lock. Push the round disk to release. Clever. Comfortable. Well made. For when you want to travel light with some sense of security. Using with Sony A7iv & G Series 24-105 F4.0. A mid-weight rig. In use only a couple of weeks. Landscape site photos. Most recently for three days outside at Amelia Concours (car show). 1,000 /- images on the strap. Will be watching for wear on the connector cords.
I have two Peak Design Camera straps & they are superb. I decided that I needed a short wrist strap, to protect against dropping camera or having it snatched from my hand, when I don't want to use a full camera strap. This cuff wrist strap is ideal. It really is a simple but clever little strap - watch the Peak Design video showing the couple of nice extra features it has. Going to use this strap a lot. Only downside - it's a bit short. In my opinion I would have liked it slightly longer. But I won't lose any sleep over it as it is a really good strap & does exactly what I wanted it to do.
This strap is amazing! It is adjustable to your wrist size (some aren't, so this is important!) and comfortable to wear. It is easy to snap on and off the camera, which is great when you're going on and off a gimbal and don't want the strap in the way. Then, once you snap the strap off, it magnets around your wrist like a bracelet so you don't have to worry about finding a place to put it. So innovative and useful! Five stars!!
I bought this strap to use with a small mirrorless camera (Fujifilm X-T10), and as a supplement to other Peak Design straps I use with larger cameras. It has done the job I needed it to do, and as long as I'm using a fairly small lens, the wrist strap is very easy and comfortable to use. I wouldn't recommend it with a DSLR or large mirrorless camera, as the weight can make the strap uncomfortable, but for small cameras it is perfect.
I love to walk around cities with my camera in hand rather than on a neck strap - which brings two risks. One that you might drop the camera and second that it might be snatched. This wrist strap solves both as it automatically tightens on your wrist when the camera pulls away. The Peak Design tags on your camera are unobtrusive and easily unclipped if you want to remove the wrist strap and transfer to a neck, shoulder strap or tripod. One thing - the strap is basically nylon and the leather bit is sewn onto the outside nylon purely as a design accent and to conceal is a small magnet which you can push to the correct position so that it "holds" the clip if you wrap it around your wrist when not attached to the camera, but actually it's not very strong.
I was taking portraits for a local High School musical production, and this strap was comfortable, secure, and out of the way of my hand enough that I almost forgot it was there. That was until I was bumped by an actor and lost my grip. It saved my rig after a short drop and was totally fine! Great product!
