I usually hate neck straps. I hate having a heavy camera flopping against my chest and hanging down if I bend over. And they get in my way when I actually shoot with the camera. The Leash is a wonderful alternative when worn over my left shoulder with the camera on my right side. This is much more stable and comfortable and I can bring the camera to any level I want when shooting. And, of course, the quick release allows me to ditch the strap if it gets in my way.

Honestly, don't look for another one because this is it. The quick release mechanisms are so easy to connect to the strap and the camera. The little toggles don't really get in the way when shooting without a strap and even if you think they do, they're so easy to take off and put back on.All in all, this strap has been a game changer for me and I hope you like it as well.

I bought this strap to use on my camera while also using binoculars (on separate strap) for birding. This strap is lightweight, strong, unobtrusive, and simple to use. The included anchor cords are simple and easy to use and quite useful! The strap enables a variety of useful configurations to use with your camera. The best feature of the strap is the quick adjustment feature that allows you to easily adjust the length with a simple pull on the thumb slide, thus adapting your strap to whatever conditions you need. I liked the ability to adjust the length so that my camera does not bang against my binoculars. Whatever position you leave the strap at, it stays secure.

I also have the Slide Lite but found it a little cumbersome for my smaller cameras. The Slide Lite works great with my Sony A73 and the Leash is great for my Fujifilm X100V and X-E4. I love Peak Design's quick release system allowing for quick swaps from this strap to their Cuff depending on my preference and shooting conditions. Love Peak and their designs. This strap is very narrow and IMO is perfect for my Z6II with a grip. The bigger Slide Lite is beautiful and to me way too wide for a smaller mirrorless body. But you might like that width for comfort. Plus as a full time pro I've always used narrower straps so maybe that's my preference here.Minor complaint are the metal slide buckles. Would like to see them coated or covered so that I can just toss everything in its slot in my bag or case and not have to worry about adjusting the buckles so they don't scratch up my gear. Comes with the accessory base plate too which allows you to come up with a bunch of different custom carrying configurations.Peak = Nice Design!

They make some outstandingly well thought through, high quality products!I bought this leash for my compact camera. It's size just matches the little camera better than the wider straps they have.The best thing about Peak Design straps is their quick release system to attach the leash or strap to the camera. It works flawlessly and looks cool. In this case however I ran into the problem that the cord was too thick to fit through the tiny attachment on my camera.The strap comes with a metal ring which I assume is for exactly that, however, the ring is as thick and wouldn't fit.I had to add metal rings from my fishing gear to make it work. I finally got my hands on a Fuji x100v, which I absolutely love but that's another review. When I got the fuji I already heard the factory strap was nothing to write home about but is that surprising?I was totally convinced I needed a vintage leather camera strap, no nylon strap for me! After a lot of looking, I decided wanted the Peak design anchor system, this would allow to quickly swap from neck strap to wrist strap. I also wanted to be able to adjust the strap length.Even though I thought I was dead set on leather I decided to try this slim strap and I'm glad I did! Super light and easy to adjust the length make it a perfect fit for my Fuji. About the only thing I'd say is if I had a heavier camera, like my Leica R4, I'd look at their slide light strap.

I got this because I recently added a harness to my accessories, and I didn't want to have to unloop and reloop my Olympus camera strap each time I switched back and forth. Nor did I want to carry my camera without a strap around me. This fills the bill. The attachment stays on the camera (and isn't big and bulky to get in the way when not in use), and I can switch from harness to strap with little effort. The only reason I rated it 4 stars is because I don't like that the strap (for me) is double around my neck when I have it adjusted to my liking. If they stay together, it's not a problem, but I can see them separating and causing issues. Since I haven't actually used this in the field yet, I may find it's not a bother. Otherwise, this is great and easy to use.
