Penaten is a great brand on its own, with good quality creams, oils and soaps but the Wundschutzcreme is an absolute 5 star product for my little baby's butt.

It cools your skin down for a bit and then it will start to melt bc of the heat of your skin. I used it only when I was awake and stayed at home, bc it needs plenty of time, to reduce the redness and irritation, it’s also known as Zink Creme, and Zink is very Good for your skin, I prefer to store it in the fridge, bc afterwards it gives you a better effect and it feels on skin much better. 1 use is not enough, at least 2-3 times. The volume is really big so it will be enough for more than a year, maybe even 2. A friend of mine recommended it to me as a sunscreen for cycling. The cream is great, but for the use for which it was created. If you are a cyclist, let it go, it is too full-bodied and greasy and it kneads the bottom in a terrible way, it doesn't even go away by washing it.
When my children were young I used Penaten if they had a diaper rash and now my children are grown I use Penaten myself as a moisturizer, a healing cream and even for light sun protection, a multipurpose cream. Penaten lotion is also a great product
I'm a big fan of Penaten Creme and wanted to try out the Wundschutzcreme not realizing one of its ingredients was Parfum. My poor son howled upon applying it to his diaper rash. I'm still a fan of Penaten Creme but will avoid the Wundschutzcreme for diaper rashes.
Penaten is excellent. Our son had major diaper rash and this cured it better than anything else we tried. A big plus? This tub lasted us for an entire year! No joke.
I use this creme on my husband, who is disabled. Home-care and Nurses in the Hospital are amazed how it protects the skin in the lower back. It is the best and I have used it for many years. Cannot be without it!
