I have used this in my landcruiser 80 series all the way from 250k to 602k. This month i changed my bigend bearings and found no ware or sludge. I can highly recomend it.

Great oil, use it for a 94 GQ 4.2 Diesel. bloody spout thing is a pain hovering over an engine bay with a 10 litre container. A tap in the base would be better, or ability to connect pump system. Great to buy Aussie products.

If your vehicle is old and/or subject to hard service, Penrite oils are the best. They are popular with vintage and classic vehicle owners as they fill the less precise clearances more effectively than thin modern-style oils (which are great for newer vehicles with tight clearances) and make for smoother longer-lasting running. My elderly diesel was transformed by this HPR 20W-60 diesel oil. I will not be using any other brand in future.
JASO CD plus 20W60 equivalent to SAE 30 as specified for td42t in Nissan Patrol factory manual. What other oil complies???
Great for an old diesel with high kms! Love the Penrite range. I use it in my 85 MK Patrol and would recommend it.
Diesel motor oil has more antiscuff agents than petrol motor oil. I use this in our fleet of diesel and petrol rigs, as it matches the specs for these vehicles and allows me to keep one oil on hand, not two. Not issues ever. I really appreciate Penrite is made in Oz, is consistent quality, and works well.
I've got an old Toyota 1KZ-TE Turbo Diesel engine with bad blow by. Changed from the recommended oil to this higher viscosity type and the engine has responded very well. Cold starts are fine (though it's still summer here in Adelaide). I don't think it has reduced the blow by much but the tone of the engine sounds happier and performance is still good. I'm gonna stick with this for now and see how it goes.

The only oil to use in an older old school diesel, My Benz has done 527,000 kms and this oil when its on special in the ten litre container gives me a complete change including canister oil filter, as well as enough left over for top ups as my high mileage engine uses a little.With a Turbo spinning at very high revs I need the best mineral oil money can buy and with PENRITE I know I'm getting the BEST!
