I got this little dog for my Mother In Law who lives in an Assisted Living Facility for her Birthday, She used to have a Golden Retriever and she just loved this little stuffed toy. She was so excited that it looked like it was breathing, she said it seemed so real and she loved it. She even ate her lunch with this cute little dog on her table as she ate. I just wish there was an On/Off switch for the breathing.

They are adorable! It is very realistic. It is very soft, and lots of people think it is real.It is huggable, but not squeezable. I was expecting bigger, but it turned out to be about eight inches. the bed is super soft ,perfect for a dog! It meets all my expectations but one,its eyes are too dark. It looks like it has mascara. But I was able to brush some fur over parts of it to were it looks fine. The brush is very well made.

Stroking a pet can have a calming influence on those with Dementia or Alzheimer's disease. This was very evident today with the gentleman who stroked the dog throughout the session.
It was much appreciated. Much smaller than I expected and you don't seem to be able to switch off the breathing. Comes in a lovely carry case and dog bed. It's a nice friend that doesn't require any work!
I bought the golden retriever puppy for my granddaughter’s 8th Birthday. She absolutely adores it. It is well made and looks exactly the same as the pictureI was so impressed I have ordered one for my mother who is 86 years for her Christmas. I am looking forward to seeing the joy on her face.
Whilst the puppy looked cute and cuddly it was in fact quite hard based and I know my husband wouldn't like to cuddle it so returned it.
In no way huggable. There is no on/off switch. The only way to turn it off is to unscrew the compartment and remove the battery. It is a hard material with hair like fur, not the usual thick plush fur. I would call it a knick-knack shelf sitter, and $35. on sale is a really high price for that.
I purchased two of the puppies for my grandchildren. They are lifelike but I only wish they were a little softer and a little moveable. Wish they also had an off and on switch. But they are really cute, I think it would be especially nice for an older person who loves dogs.
