The purifier isn't that heavy so it's not too difficult either, to move it around, but it can be a bit of a hassle as there's no handles.When the purifier is turned off, it still measures the air quality.For some reason, the purifier will randomly say my gas level is 3 even though it was at 1 just a second ago and nothing in the room has changed. (The information manual also provides you with good quality support if required. Purchased from Amazon with a fantastic discount. Setting up is very straight forward, thanks to the packaging and easy to follow instructions. Linking purifier with phone is also an easy process, it's plain to see Philips has put a lot of thought into this app. I've set mine to Auto during the day and at 21:30 to 07:00 it's in night mode, which means it's whisper quiet and no indicator lights. This is my first air purifier so I can't compare, but what I can say is within 7 minutes it's transformed the air into the cleanest air you could only replicate if you went to the Snowy mountains.
This is the best looking purifier that blends in nicely with my lounge instead of the usual ugly white, which is why I chose it. However I'm not convinced of the accuracy. Simply increasing or decreasing the fan speed suddenly drastically changes the readings of air quality on the display, which doesn't make any sense. Also there is a child lock, but it only works for stopping kids from touching when it is on. Child Lock doesn't work when it's off which is annoying because my 2 year old is constantly turning my unit on when I don't want/need it on.
Hay fever has long been a dreadful season for this household. A friend suggested purchasing an air purifier as a good method of keeping the house easier to breathe within.In the months since it has been in the house we have noticed that we just don't get hay fever any more.
