It's been almost two years and the verdict is I use it more often than my oven. Anything breaded is nice and crispy and you add NO oil and NO spray - just air!! It's incredibly easy to use, my 11 year old uses it to make snacks.The best part about it, in my opinion, is that it shuts off automatically when the timer is done. So far, so good. My husband enjoys fried foods and I don't fry. This is our compromise and so far both of us are happy. I have a convection oven and love it, but the air fryer is like my oven on steroids. It cooks the same items about half the time, and comes out crisper. We've enjoyed fries, onion rings, chicken wings and egg rolls so far. I roast a lot of vegetables so I'll be trying them soon. There's a "splatter proof lid" included which up until now, I've chosen not to use. It's not the easiest lid to remove the way it snaps in when cold and cant' imagine doing when it's hot. At the moment, that's all I can find that I don't like about the product. Looking forward to experimenting a bit more. So far, hubby is happy.
So far it's great! Clean up is breeze...the basket slides in and out and dissembles for easy hand-washing or so you can throw it in the dishwasher. It's very simple to use...a push-button dial and the on/off button will have you cooking in minutes. Veggies, tofu, frozen snacks...so far so good. I also like the small foot print...not much bigger than our rice cooker...so we can keep it out on the counter without sacrificing much space. In reality, this is just a small convection oven...not a fryer, so keep that in mind when purchasing. I wish they had these when I lived in Japan in the late 80's. I had a small convection oven purchased from JC Penney that got so hot the paint discolored on the outside surface!

All in all I loved this airfryer and I'm so glad that philips gave me the opportunity to try this product. I'll always use it and I strongly recommend it for those who are looking for preparing a HEALTHY, almost oil free, tasty meals!
