As seen in the review picture,it's frying pan can only fry a small piece of piza at a time.

We've cooked a number of foods in it and each of them have come out hot, crispy, and tasting just like fried but without all the oil and mess that's normally involved in frying items at home. It also has saved us from having to use the oven on hot days, which is a major bonus. We will likely get the double rack so that we can use it for cooking things that take up more space (fried chicken). And the box was a little confusing about what accessories are included, it made it seem at first that it included them but they are actually sold separately.Would definitely recommend this product!

Great appliance that does exactly what it promises to do
21 July 2017

I received the Philips Airfryer Digital with TurboStar to review and it is a great kitchen appliance that does exactly what it promises to do. It cooks a variety of dishes with little or no oil. It is super easy to operate; you put the food in the basket and either use one of the preset buttons or you push / turn the big button and your food is cooking. The push to pause and restart feature is great when you have to give the food a shake or you just feel like checking on what you're making. It is also very hands off in a good way, you get your food cooking and you can get busy with the other stuff you need to do and come back when it beeps done, no need to constantly tend to your food. Great product

I received the Philips Airfryer Digital with TurboStar to review, I've had it now for close to three weeks and we use it substantially more than I thought we would. It cooks the food you would normally deep fry (fries, nuggets, mozza sticks, etc), but it is also fantastic for chicken breast, stewing pork, sausages - almost everything! Anything breaded is nice and crispy and you add NO oil and NO spray - just air!! It's incredibly easy to use, my 11 year old uses it to make snacks. The best part about it, in my opinion, is that it shuts off automatically when the timer is done. This is a great safety feature and gives me a level of comfort with my kids using it.Clean-up is really quick and easy; soap, water, and a soft sponge! I haven't had to soak it yet - and there have been some experiments gone bad!! - we put a bunch of different stuff in there together and over filled it, mozza cheese everywhere!Almost as importantly as the safety and being able to health-up some quick meals- there is no after smell that you always have when using the old-school deep fryers. This is definitely the way to go.The one flaw that I did notice, is that if you pull the basket out while the unit is on, it does not shut off automatically. This seems like an oversight and perhaps may be addressed on an upcoming model. All in all, this is a pretty great product that I didn't know I needed and I wouldn't give up!

This product is amazing. I have had it for about a month and have used it at least once a day since then. There are tons of recipes you can find online for air fryers. Philips gives you over 200 in their App to start you off. If you are going to adjust some of your own recipes by yourself, it may take a couple tries to get them the way you like them. The ease of use and speed of this machine are great! The clean up is next to zero. The most clean up was with coated chicken but it was well worth it. My wife and I both agreed that it was the best chicken we have ever had. I have done both store bought fries and fresh cut potatoes, steak, hash browns, cookies, fish (both coated and none), sweet potato fries, wings, individual pizzas, bologna, hamburgers, corn on the ... MoreThis product is amazing. More that I can’t even think of right now. This was well worth the money spent. My stomach couldn’t take eating fish and chips or anything else deep fried anymore. Could not even eat hot dogs without feeling miserable. This has changed everything and I can now eat whatever I want. I can’t wait to keep experimenting with it and trying different recipes. Great size for 2 people. If you cook, go buy one now. Don’t wait. It is worth it!!

Love the crisp!

So far, so good. My husband enjoys fried foods and I don't fry. This is our compromise and so far both of us are happy. I have a convection oven and love it, but the air fryer is like my oven on steroids. It cooks the same items about half the time, and comes out crisper. We've enjoyed fries, onion rings, chicken wings and egg rolls so far. I roast a lot of vegetables so I'll be trying them soon. There's a "splatter proof lid" included which up until now, I've chosen not to use. It's not the easiest lid to remove the way it snaps in when cold and cant' imagine doing when it's hot. At the moment, that's all I can find that I don't like about the product. Looking forward to experimenting a bit more. So far, hubby is happy.

Small and Powerful Addition to Any Kitchen!

So far it's great! Clean up is breeze...the basket slides in and out and dissembles for easy hand-washing or so you can throw it in the dishwasher. It's very simple to use...a push-button dial and the on/off button will have you cooking in minutes. Veggies, tofu, frozen snacks...so far so good. I also like the small foot print...not much bigger than our rice cooker...so we can keep it out on the counter without sacrificing much space. In reality, this is just a small convection oven...not a fryer, so keep that in mind when purchasing. I wish they had these when I lived in Japan in the late 80's. I had a small convection oven purchased from JC Penney that got so hot the paint discolored on the outside surface!

Regarding my cooking experience i've tried many recipes like fries, vegetables and meat balls, all turned out great as expected with just 1 tablespoon of oil! the fries were crispy from the outside and very soft from the inside in just about 25 minutes, since i got this airfryer i stopped using the oven for potato fries! the meat balls were also great, crispy and healthy with almost no oil and fat as all of it dripped down from the basket. During cooking it was quiet and the most important thing is that it doesn't leave a strong food smell after cooking. The cleaning up process was so easy, food doesn't stick to the pan. if you're cooking meat there might be some residues sticking on the basket and on the pan but those can be removed easily with hot water, soap and a sponge. the only thing that i didn't like about it is the basket size, its relatively small for big families, its ideal for 2-3 individuals. All in all I loved this airfryer and I'm so glad that philips gave me the opportunity to try this product. I'll always use it and I strongly recommend it for those who are looking for preparing a HEALTHY, almost oil free, tasty meals!
