Great hair cutting tool from the comfort of your home! It has a lovely built and I love the fact how fast and neatly it did my hairs without leaving any cuts/bruises. The manual has full and detailed information on the product usage and the product itself is very simple to use. Quality product like most Philips products. On battery power, the device last as described and works well for 3 years. I've been using it for close to 4 years now and the battery is dying now so it doesn't work as well on battery power alone. However, you can still run it by plugging it to the power outlet with the charger. The angle of the blade seems odd compared to other clippers and it doesn't allow for a proper fade, however I have been able to get around it. For the price the of the unit and warranty, I still recommend this product for the quality alone.

I have used a few different hair clippers but using the Philips Series 3000 Hair Clipper is the easiest one I’ve used. I have thick hair and as the comb does not clog with cut hair, it is much quicker to get a good finish. This works great for me, with its easy to select length settings, it was easy to find one that suited me. I have been using Philips hair clippers for the last 15 years. Went through about 5 in all these years and remarkably they all had the same issue, that was the plastic spindle component ( which I think takes the most wear and tear). Luckily, Philips always honors their warranty and 3 of the 5 clippers were replaced. I threw out the other 2 worn out clippers. I would say use with care and do not expose to water. Do not also attempt to clean the internals of the clipper even if hair is stuck as this might damage the spindle.
So much easier to clip/buzz my hair without a cord. Cuts right through thicker hair. Turn on the extra speed for super fast setting. Many length settings and different combs for fades and styles. Also buzzes the eyebrows and beard very well. Very clean cut. Easy to clean with a little brush or water.

The clipper sizes are not that great although they range from 2 mm to 32 mm. I would have preferred if it had clippers supporting longer hair too. I tried using the 32 mm clipper and it clipped my hair too short that it took me 5 weeks to get any decent style. Given the chance, I would not buy this product.
